But it's ok for clubs to pay the airfares for overseas riders & mechanics ?

My first thoughts were where were the Coventry fans with there bucket ? They were quick enough to find money for a riders wife & kids to fly around the world to live in Poland but not to help out an English rider.

Saying that if lewis was that keen he would spend a week in Coventry knocking on doors looking for sponsorship.

I think there is more too it.

Big difference there, on one hand you have a guy who got into trouble with UK visas and was a genuine case.... On the other hand you have a guy who has just blown all his spare cash on long holidays and now wants hand outs to get himself back into the sport. Not difficult to work out really.

Only two people know what really happened..

three. I bet middlo knows as well. He knows everything. Just wait for the tweet about how his lawyer mate of 28 years has never seen such a clear case of broken promise in all his years of being in court 24/7. Damn that off duty police man and his offer of a free bike.

Why do so many threads on the BSF develop a persecution complex. Here we have Lewis Bridger under relentless attack. in the past there was Michael Lee, while elsewhere on the BSF it's Darcy Ward.

Perhaps had these people behaved themselves in a proper manner folk wouldn't be so keen to criticise. All of the three you mention can hardly be held up as a credit to Speedway - can they?

Just an observation.

I am gutted with Bridger's latest actions, I have been a massive Bridger fan over the years, I know I am going to get slated, but on his day Bridger IMO is as good as anyone. If only he could sort himself out, even at the age he is now he still has a lot to offer.

I wouldn't dream of slating you. :t::nono: :nono:

Bridger is a great Rider with a great talent, no doubt. But sadly he, along with one or two others seems to have a self destruct button which he presses rather too often.

Perhaps because they're a pain in the bum and deserve criticism?

There's a difference between criticism of the action people take to the downright vindictiveness about some riders (and BSF posters!!!) that appear on this forum.

No hes not he is at best a elite second string. To say hes up with Tai, Emil, Holder, Greg is laughable

Lewis has natural talent in abundance in reality what he needs is what he was getting at AE under Jon Cooke a bit of TLC but not in the way they gave it to him, he really needs someone to take him under their wing and guide him, obviously he needs to "sign up for it" to make it happen.

As for MH i couldnt possibly say what i think about him and his brother on a forum

Absolutely spot on with what you say about Lewis, I have friends who have spent time with Lewis and got to know the lad and they say he is a nice lad.

No doubt he has the talent but does not know how to channel it, I really think he needs to take a look at Tai who already has a World Championship under his belt.

Tai was going on a similar path, but he appeared to see the light of day, got Peter Adams involved and the rest is history.

Lewis should be doing the same rather than involving himself in petty arguments, and getting his head down, otherwise later on on life he might just sit down and think "If Only."

It's late - and I can't think. Who is MH?

Sorry - I think I know who you are talking about. The light bulb has just come on inside my head.

Just for a moment I thought you were talking about many of the post(er)s on the forum?! Silly me!! :D:wink:

I nearly added another sentence but was very restrained in view of my zero warning status. :P

Difficult to deliver on potential if you have no bikes, as it appears, until that is sorted out there`s every chance that Bridger will stay retired.

I meant from the beginning...................
