Tigerite
Sean Wilson - consistent 10 point+ average rider, one of the main reasons for Sheffield's success as a captain and rider between 1999 and 2002 and a 3 times PLRC winner.

SCB
Couldn't stand him at the time but it's hard to see past Carl Stonehewer.
Cj69
Here a few of my personal favourites of recent times (last 10 years ish) all dominant during some point in their PL career. No doubt have missed some obvious candidates. Carl Stonehewer Peter Carr Shane Parker Chris Holder Sean Wilson Craig Cook Nicki Pedersen Bjarne Pedersen Hard to pin down one as the greatest but perhaps Stoney just edges it as a true PL great. waiheke1
If u stretch this back to the old national League, then joe owen at Newcastle must be up there.
Storming Norman
Joe Owen. He seemed to average 11 season upon season. Plus he was very exciting to watch.

Nicki Pedersen, Bjarne, Craig Watson and Carl Stonehewer to name a few have entertained, but I don't think any of them come close. Just my opinion. Matej Zagar - really, how can you include him, he was frightened to travel north of the Watford Gap!!!!

SteadyFan79
For me it's gotta be Simon Stead or Sean Wilson
Cue Ball
I see Craig Cook mentioned... Not in the same class as the majority of other riders mentioned! He is very good, but when you think riders like Wilson, stoney, Watson, schott, Carr, shields all rode in the league at the same time, I think it demonstrates how much stronger it was in the late 90's than it is now and how much tougher it was to stand out. I confess to being a Sheffield supporter and so am slightly biased, but Wilson and Stoney stand out to me for being 10 point riders with longevity over a number of seasons. Pinny
Cooks gotta be up there to be fair, 2013 espiecially as much as i dislike him In the early 00s you had about 25 riders who were top dogs at the same time in one league - we had wato smart and henriksson one year all on 9+, and that year with iversen. Class days and as much as the pl is still mega competitive - you cant beat the late 90s early 2000s.
