Jonny the spud
If Adam Ellis wanted to race in second tier he'd have done so ages ago. He's simply done the maths and worked out he can go out and beat a load of NL wobblers and kids every week and pick up an easy £600 minimum. Why would he want to give that up and halve his earning or less in the Premier League?[/quote Wow. If it was that easy there'd be loads of riders in the NL. you misinformed post is not only insulting to Adam but so far of the mark in terms of money it's untrue. If you can pick up a minimum £600 in a meeting, there'd be a hell of a lot more riders in it. As J T S said, that's a bit of an Insult you're throwing out there
Shadders
If you're talking about beating a load of kids ( Adam is only 19 himself ) look no further than Tony Aitken. A very poor example. Atkin is hardly pulling up trees and is surely only racing these days as a hobby and to help bring along the youngsters at Buxton, very much like Jon Armstrong at Stoke. Countershaftcounter
nice bit of selective quoting there, still looking for you to back up your "minimum £600 a meeting " line.
TurnTwo
How would Ellis be on £600? It's a £10 & 0.10p league obviously with a difference for the standard of the rider. He wouldn't be on a guarentee as Birmingham last year as you saw with cash flow problems wouldn't want to get into that crisis again. Adam Ellis is probably on £25 a point up to his 10 point average then whatever he scores over that £30 which he would have to score a maximum to get £400. Jonny the spud
I take it he's either forgotten to add the tonic or realised what a massive bell end he is. shame people feel the need to post such ill informed crap, ho hum.

Countershaftcounter
I think JTS was referring to shads original £600 minimum post, surprisingly shads hasn't come back since. I Think JTS is also in the know a bit more than shads eh ?

uk_martin
Good point Kev. I suspect that if the leagues get restructured as the intentions were a few weeks ago then all of BSF will have that "where to put what" issue to face.
