DragonsDen
I have a feeling Andrew may be in France on the annual Silver Ski jolly, so don't expect any team news until he returns. Didn't hear any bikes at Rye yesterday (25th), although the weather was fine Oh! I forgot, thay don't have phones and Internet etc. in France Sorry Shads, could not resist! BossMan
He's on holiday. Give him a break (not literally) So he didn't have time before to list a few names then or 5 mins to send an email from France?

greyhoundp
He doesn't have to answer to anyone! Thats correct but surely he must know supporters however few Raiders have, would like to know who is in the Team. I often wonder where the word Promoter came from with regards Speedway, as very few of them seem to do what the word means, and Rye House Rockets/Raiders are one if not the worst over the years. teddy2706
The team I would like to see in Rye House jackets is: Lambert S. Silver A. Lambert R. Irving G. Pickard J. Bates J. Garrity J. Wright C. I would even put up with the chips there if they ran that team....
waco
Would any of the above riders qualify to ride in this years National League If so let us know ? Bates,, possibly ? Irving maybe? Edited January 29, 2015 by waco
teaboy279
Is there any danger that rye may not race in nl in 2015?

I find the whole Rye setup/promotion very frustrating.I have been looking most days over the last few months for information on the Raiders, but nothing.
Paul
Do you honestly think it's going to make any difference to the numbers who attend to see a Raiders stand alone meeting wether Andrew announces his team today, tomorrow or at the end of Feburary? If it was the main team, yes it would be a worry, but it's not. Of course I'd like to know who is in the team, but I'm chilled about it now. All the other clubs must be quacking in there boots for the announcement when it comes!
Shadders
There are only 6 stand alone Raiders meetings according to the fixture list. There are as many PL/NL double headers, maybe more if there are any rain offs
Sings4Speedway
Im guessing the Raiders will run mostly on Saturday afternoons (1 / 2 pm starts?) allowing time for the pits to be cleared before the Rockets meeting and the track to be knocked back into shape? Sings4Speedway
Thanks for the info Shads. Is there a curfew at Rye House? Seems to make sense although I feel for the Raiders who are unlikely to have any room in the pits to park or work until the first meeting is over? Pit area at Rye is plenty big enough for riders to park and change into race gear etc. Bikes are usually warmed up towards the end of the first meeting, then of course there is usually an interval after the first meeting for track work. Shadders
My first meeting was a double header in 1985 and there have been many since. I feel sorry for the NL lads who will be faced with a very slick track Edited January 30, 2015 by Shads
