Fenway Bleachers
Agreed KAOC, Monarchs managed to compensate for reduced reserve strength in the last few months by having 2 No 1s and big hitting in heats 15 and 13 home and away.  Those 4 heats were won 19/5 against both Ipswich and Somerset never mind the 2 successful TRs in the grand final.  Sam took a little while to sort out Armadale but since the Scottish Open win he has been as good as Cookie at home which is well nigh impossible since Craig is the Master of the dale  He can kick on again from 8.

scotchopper
Masters on 8.22 would be a number 1 at most other clubs, yet it is not a role I think he is capable of and would IMO find it very hard going leading to his average dropping. Edinburgh have also had great value from Sedgmen and Fricke who have each put over 2 points on their average. They have served their purpose and with Edinburgh not being loyal to riders (not a criticism) at least one from Worrall, Sedgemen, Fricke and Masters will be moved on. Â Like you say Fox is worth another punt being on a low average and now having done all the tracks There is also Tabaka on a 6.00 who wasn't needed to replace any under performers mid season and I know of a frustrating German who would represent superb value on 6.19 . No doubt another couple of masterstroke signings will be made! Couldn't disagree more Sam has been like a number 1 for the 2nd half of the season. He won the monarchs Facebook rider of the year and whatever team get him next year will be lucky, he has been amazing to watch since he won the Scottish open. He is also a man possessed when chasing, just about took out his own team mates to win the open. Â Could monarchs use 4 of the top 5 with 3x3 point riders. That top 4 have almost won some meetings single handed when Stevie missed the end of the season against the best in the league. just need one of the 3 pointers to kick on

At the start of the season he couldn't find his way round Armadale, but his away scores meant he was still valuable. Now he is most definitely a home track specialist and his strength in heat 13/15's has pulled us through at the back end of the season. I have no doubt in my mind that if Cookie were not to return, Sam would be a strong number one for us. Â As for Aaron, I'm pretty sure he thinks he'll be back. I hope he will be, not sure of the figures, but I think his home average is around 7? This year will have been a big learning experience for him, if he applies himself he should up his away form next season. I wasn't there, but he did get a lot of praise from his riding at Somerset in the final.

andy123456
What was the gist of it? Â Stay or go? just saying you guys are battling to keep him, as he flies home today. There's atleast 5 elite clubs after him and john Campbell says he hopes he stays another year in the pl as he needs atleast one more. And just about sedgeman and fox both stating they want a return next season, but fricke is main priority:

Monarchlad
1 Cookie 9.30 2 Sedgy. 7.27 3 Max. 7.96 4 5 Sam. 8.22 6 Foxy. 3.76 7  As rumour is no Stevie, average too high, and no Deek.....give a fair bit to play roughly 7.00 to play with (just worked out roughly), although I do think what I have seen on Facebook tonight that Maxie boy could be away.....EL and abroad could be calling   On another thought, what about Jack Holder joining the Aussie connection if Max moves?! MANSE
Loan fee the only riders that people pay money for are Glasgow riders [Josh.Mason.Nick] no other PL team can match that
Nutz
Cheesed off with him missing so many home meetings.Just to put the record straight he missed just one against Lakeside  Maybe around Kirky Lane, but missed a fair few away meetings for you did he not?  sams had a good seas'n but to improve on 8.22 is a big ask as he could be a number 1 next year where ever he rides,, and he will come up against the likes of danny king simon stead etc but good luck to him as I would like to see him at brough pk in the diamonds race jacket as he would learn a lot riding brough every week which would make him a 9 pointer easy I reckon  He'd learn a lot at Brough Park??? I wasn't there, but he did get a lot of praise from his riding at Somerset in the final.  Aaron in the second half of the meeting was superb at Somerset without scoring the points he deserved. Certainly was finding drive off the inside where not many others could but didn't quite have the track craft to move out and block the moves of the quicker home men. If there are no visa problems etc., he's an absolute must back next year...  1 Cookie 9.30 2 Sedgy. 7.27 3 Max. 7.96 4 5 Sam. 8.22 6 Foxy. 3.76 7  As rumour is no Stevie, average too high, and no Deek.....give a fair bit to play roughly 7.00 to play with (just worked out roughly), although I do think what I have seen on Facebook tonight that Maxie boy could be away.....EL and abroad could be calling   If all the above is true, looking at Craig, Justin, Sam and Aaron (If Max is away and Stevie can't be fitted in), Max's average could surely be split between two from Woelbert/Tabaka/Katajisto? Therefore, using our own assets and then whatever we'd be left with at reserve... Top 5 would all be Heatleader status and give us a good grounding yet again...!!! TheScotsman
Need a decent reserve if Aaron comes back. Can't expect him to score big away yet. Â Joe might be a big risk, as might Kevin. Â Glad it's not my job!
