TheScotsman
I think there's a random rider allocater app around. Add in all riders plus their averages, enter the points limit, then put in a team name and hit Go.
SCB
1. Sam Masters 8.23 2. Cameron Heeps 5.38 3. Kyle Howarth 6.57 4. Charles Wright 6.64 5. Brady Kurtz 7.54 6. Oliver Greenwood 3.12 7. Paul Starke 4.79 Total: 42.27 Replace 1 and 2 with Grazjonek and Todd Kurtz and you could be onto something, I think. Islander15
Replace 1 and 2 with Grazjonek and Todd Kurtz and you could be onto something, I think. That comes to 42.73. At least you agreed that it doesn't look as ridiculous as soon have made out... At the end of the day, Somerset need a number 1 and Edinburgh need to lose points (ok, it may well be Grajczonek) and Howarth looks like he's leaving Worky and has been at Somerset before. Greenwood guested for them last year if I remember right and both of those are improving riders that are Rebels type signings. Then I had some points left and picked the best rder out there imo in Heeps, as Somerset are one of the biggest teams in the league atm after all and Heeps stalled at Ipswich last year. coomie
Don't know if brady is ready for heat leader away from the ota yet what do you rebels fans think, all, though he may have to with that average, just read olly's tweet can't fit him in this year, wish him well Edited November 24, 2014 by coomie
gusworld
My prediction now that we won't have Olly and Nick as heatleaders anymore. 1. Josh G 8.11 2. Charles 6.64 3. Pontus 7.17 4. Jack H 5.00 5. Brady 7.54 6. Paul S 4.79 7. Olly G 3.12 Nice balance, will walk our home meetings and all should improve their averages. Top 4 easily and then who knows.... Bring it on! There was a legitimate reason Heeps struggled this season. At the tail end of the 2013 season he was struggling with a wrist injury. During last winter he had an operation on said wrist that may or may not have been successful because he was still in pain and struggling with it for a good chunk of the season which ultimately also affected his confidence. As the season progressed he gradually started to up his game again and his confidence returned when his fitness returned. He's good value on his current average because the lad is a big talent and great to watch too.
jenga
not sure we will have charles,Rumer is he's might be recalled by Workington, but hope not i am sure the team that employed the rider the previous season (2014, somerset ) have first call on his services, unless he puts in a transfer request to leave or somerset do not require his services the following year . then he is free to ride where ever he wants. worky can approach him, but dont have the main tug on him. I THINK. but very welcome back at worky in 2015.

RebelDan
josh g strong but can Charles improve on his av I cant see it the rest much the same fin avs from the start of the seas'n top 4 ?? I think Charles will definently up his average. He is on an upward curve and fantastic around the OA. What might go against him is the fact that he will almost certainly double up next season in the EL. I'm sure at the AGM it was stated that new Aussies come in on a 7 point average. If correct I guess that rules out Jack Holder???
drew2
not sure we will have charles,Rumer is he's might be recalled by Workington, but hope not From speaking to Wrighty last season i don't think Workington is his favourite track but if the money is being thrown around then fair play to him to take it as a speedway riders career is only a limited one. Wouldn't be the first rider to move in that direction from Somerset for £££'s but sounds like that one may be back???? I hope Wrighty is back with the Rebels though and yes i do think he is worth that average. I guess the doubling up with EL FT Reserve may be an issue on a Friday night though. Wouldn't surprise me to see Rasmus Jensen as a Rebel in 2015.
gusworld
Rasmus Jensen (6.14) would certainly be an asset if Charles goes elsewhere or is not available very much on a Friday night due to EL duties. Charles on 6.64 is quite high but he is maturing nicely and achieved that average from being in the main body of the team. We know what we are getting with him and he just needs to improve his away scores a bit to raise that average.
jenga
charles average wasnt quite high when he was banging in all those scores for you and now you want to toss him away like an old rag.. i can see it now.. charles and rusty at 3 and 4 for worky,, then i waken up.. Najjer
I'll be really disapointted to see Charles go - him, Brady and Olly were just awesome to watch at the OTA last season and with Olly not being selected already it seems, to lose Charles would be a bitter pill to swallow on top of that. It may come to a situation where it's a toss up between Charles and Pontus. Another name to throw into the mix perhaps - Richard Hall on a 4.28 average. Would start at reserve and whilst he may offer you little away from home, he's usually pretty good value around the OTA.
