Cliffeboy
Now the dust has settled on the will he wont he be coming all the very best to Jack Holder this season in whatever he does, sorry mate its the law of the land apparently which I have know doubt will change again and a similar sorry episode will be giving chaps like Jenga something to do in the weeks heading up to Christmas again lol. I see Ollie Greenwood has decided he cannot ride for the Rebels due to work commitments and has signed for the Panthers instead , good luck to him as well , you have to look after the day job mate. Just thought a rider decides to leave a team before a wheel is turned and that is fine ( no problem from me there ) , yet a rider is replaced before a wheel is turned by the management to hopefully improve his team , mass hysteria. From where I'm sitting both options are ok especially going by how Speedway is run, as I said hope he does ok, Big welcome to Leigh and Max, a good point made earlier regarding last seasons team when I too thought Ollie and Pontus would struggle to achieve their starting averages, they both improved and the Rebels picked up two trophies if each of these lads can stick a point on that will do. I have no worries about Charlie,Josh and Brady who imo will all improve their averages, and hopefully Richie can quickly get dialled into the Rebels strip. Got a great Christmas/Birthday present off the wife I`m off to the Prague GP in May, with three mates , get in, a very happy new year to all

What a wife, Prague the worst track and racing in GP calendar but without doubt best nightlife. Enjoy! Happy New Year.

me2
If Lanham can stay injury free, he could be a shrewd signing, but anyone who can put a positive spin on Dilger should be in politics. Or a home for the terminally delusioned. I hope he can prove me wrong, he's a decent bloke who tries hard and has decent equipment, but I never saw anything in the guy when he was at Edinburgh and nothing I've seen since has changed my mind. He always seemed timid and hesitant to me.

Lioness
Got to ask Shads, name a speedway rider NOT off their rocker? they do ride bikes without brakes after all! (ps many congrats to you and Sarah, only just heard your lovely news from earlier in the month!)

Cliffeboy
You've gotta have balls of steel, or be off your rocker to ride the boards at the OTA. Many have done it with confidence knowing the track will not let them down, Simon Walker bless him could mix it with most of them around the boards. If this is what I think it is all the very best to you both, see you when the Rebels are in town Shads. Worrall and Barker could face a ban for walking out of Argentina International Championships according to report in todays Sun If this is the case Gary might need to give Pontus a phone.
Paulco
Remember being down at Somerset in 2006 when Lee Dicken beat Stefan Katt by riding round the boards for the whole 4 laps . The big man was good that night

Bagpuss
Rebels look very ordinary now, expect changes during the season.

dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Success is about the scope for improvement and IMO Kurtz Josh G Worrall and Lanham all have a point increase in them so they will still be in the shake up. Ben91
A bit unfair including Lykke in with that lot . At least Kasper is entertaining to watch and always gives 100% . If Kasper could sort out his gating , he would be a heat leader . But I agree with your sentiment . If a foreign rider comes in on a 5 or a 7 and cant achieve that average over a season , if someone wants to sign them the following year they should revert back to the assessed mark . There's definitely a good rider in Kasper, really only added his name to my post to stop anyone from making a "but you're happy to track one yourself" jibe. If he was on a 7 for next year though no-one would be going near him, same for a fair few overseas imports for that matter.

bigcatdiary
I think you and a few others will be surprised at how they perform once the season starts. In short, no. Who would you have signed at this short notice? . A young Brit, every single time.
oldtimer
New team not very attractive (personal opinion) and much weaker than last two seasons, not managements fault but the 42.5 team limit. We now have Josh who was a third heat leader with Somerset now a number one. Cannot see us getting many away points as in 2013 with Doyle and Nick and last season Ollie and Nick. However most teams teams are weaker. Edinburgh look good with Masters and Cook and would bet on these two beating Josh at the Oak Tree any day of the week. At the moment not a top six team, however Gary will make changes if required and I will be amazed if this is the same team that finishes the season. Theres still a fair few weeks before the season starts - I dont think it would be a surprise if its not the same 7 before then let alone by the end!
