bigeddiechek
So the Monarchs have taken yet another well-deserved title.Personally, I really like the PL: when all of the generic speedway problems are put to one side. The variety of teams and tracks, and a good competitive league are plus points, for me. There are plenty other threads for what is wrong, so let's try and get an idea of what is right too! Paul Johnson
Get more meetings on Sky then more people will see why the racing is better. i personally thinks its better because every rider could win a race, everyone is fighting for a point

bigeddiechek
I think the amount of away winds this season show it to be a solid, competitive league.Maybe the reserves getting a regular shot at EL has helped the PL too? Shadders
Variety of opponents is the main advantage, but I'd like to see a proper local derby. Our nearest opponents are Ipswich, which is hardly local
Fenway Bleachers
they can be overrated Shads. Whilst local derbies are never meaningless Sometimes like this year they have been meaning less. However when tight bragging rights are to be cherished. MD
True but when they can be overrated Shads. Whilst local derbies are never meaningless Sometimes like this year they have been meaning less. However when tight bragging rights are to be cherished. True but when one team finishes the season with a team CMA around 50 and the other around 34 its a no contest. Only mug punters would travel to the EH postcode land to see that and we seem to have a few at GLA. I'm all for fans being loyal and sticking with it through the lean times but there comes a time when you say enough is more than enough! Travelled three times to Somerset to see the Rockets score 26, 28 & 20 points. If we'd been there a fourth time I'd have gone again. I guess that makes me a mug too! TheScotsman
I suppose the racing might still have been better than what you see at home.
