Aces51
Absolutely ridiculous to base the tier one rankings on PL averages when a much truer comparison for those in the FTD last year is available. A combination of factors should have been taken into account. As I have said previously, anyone with an ounce of sense would, for example, take into account that Worral's PL average was inflated by a large number of rides at reserve. How many on here would rate him more highly than Garrity, Blackbird or Newman?
g13webb
The whole selection process was a complete joke. What is more worrying, is that the people at BSPA have to be really thick that they cant see what is happening, yet all the fans see it loud and clear. Â Why is it the same teams always benefit from these cock-ups, Yet another nail in the coffin........
phillipsr
Some people didn't get the tweets because they put the clubs twitter at the start of the tweet. If you don't follow that club then it won't come up on your feed. Not true i dont follow any of the clubs but i saw all the tweets

That's the crux of the draft being unfair (apart from protected assets) but this way round it suits both Wolves and Poole - what a farce!

BWitcher
Â Ahhh missed that! Good Business from Belle Vue getting younger riders on there books! So something else Swindon never really thoight about! Â In the end its Swindons fault... Whats the saying go like! Fail to prepare, prepare to fail! Â You're talking rubbish. Â For Worrall to be rated higher than Blackbird and Newman is quite simply corrupt. Â I'm a Wolves fan, my team gained from it.. or would have until they then didn't bother taking the best rider in the next round and let Poole have him.

Why would Worrall been ranked higher than Blackbord and Newman be an issue? they were all Tier 1 riders so it dont matter if they were 1 or 10 they could have been picked at any time! Tommy Sweetman
I am amazed Wolves went with Bates over Starke! I amazed having first pick we didnt go for Neilsen. Â Although Bates won Under 21,s at Monmore, dropped a big bo-bo not going for the Belle Vue man who was very impressive at the Green last season. theknow 2
As expected - the actual draw turns into a farce - how can a team get the best FTR from last year and then first pick in the second round and Poole also get Newman and second pick - a total farce!!! Looks like another good year for Poole on the cards
MrMungo
I'm amazed CVS didn't go for Starke - achieved a sky high NL average round that track over the last couple of seasons.
flagrag
Well i do wonder if Leicester have made a mistake not protecting Josh Bates and also having Joe Jacobs as Simon Lambert has never ride the track very well

foreverblue
Well chuffed with Starke, much better reserve pairing than last year, not that it matters when you have Newman.

Hence Poole getting second pick of Tier 2 riders.... Â I thought everyone knew Newman was the stand out FTR in the Elite league last year.... but apparently not....... SCB
My observations.....1. Why order them by PL average? Surely EL average was fairer, they all had one except Auty (who could have been slotted in 1st or 3rd) and Wright who I would have been kind to and slotted in behind Garrity and Newman due to lack of EL experience. Birks, Roynon and Boxall would have been done by PL average then.2. Why didn't Leicester protect Bates? Then pick Lambert? 3. Why didnt Wolves pick Starke? 4. I may have had a moan but I'm not unhappy, there not a lot between many of the riders tbf.

Poole should have got first pick of the Tier two riders because rhey finished top of the league so why did Wolves get first pick in Tier 2???  They got last pick in Tier 1 but decided to protect a rider so they lost that pick (Gained from it i agree but that IMO was fair)
