MrMungo
And the official @speedwaygb website is missing half the announcements, another example of how the people who run this sport are questioned. I imagine that would be more of a technical issue with Twitter more than anything else. Others seem to be getting them okay.
Hunty
As expected - the actual draw turns into a farce - how can a team get the best FTR from last year and then first pick in the second round and Poole also get Newman and second pick - a total farce!!! Because they were bottom of the league and didnt proctect any riders! The Idea of the Draft is to get the teams who had a poor year to have a better year this year! American sports have done it for years! The rules were everyone could protect a rider which aids Poole because they had the last pick in the first round! Its anoying that people have to think its not fair but it is fair the teams new the rules before the draft and you pick what you think is best from what is on offer! Wolves did the right thing in not proctecting anyone becuase they all struggled last year and so they got better picks because of it! Poole protected there top rider knowing that they could get a strong second tier rider with second pick! Not rocket science at all really!
sparkafag
Looks quite well balanced this year. Lakeside looks the best pairing IMO. @speedwaygb didn't miss out any picks Edited November 26, 2014 by sparkafag

And Swindon didn't protect anyone (and finished 4th in the league) at yet got to pick AFTER Poole - just as well its not rocket science because there is absolutely no justification for that!
Hunty
How on earth do Poole get second pick in Tier 2 ?????? Fix AGAIN Are you serious!
mdmc82
How on earth do Poole get second pick in Tier 2 ?????? Fix AGAIN How are Newman and Blackbird at the bottom of the draft list when 2 of the best in it last year? Does that mean they won't be able to use guests from higher up the draft if needed? Makes you wonder how they manage to get everyone to the stadium by 7.30 on race nights doesn't it

They had the option to keep Worrall in the first round pick, why on earth they didnt I do not now! You have to work out what picks you will get and who will go where and what will be left! If Poole didnt proctect a rider they would have had last pick in Tier 1 simple as that really!
phillipsr
Wolves have made a massive mistake picking Bates over Starke! Whatever there on they need to give it up
A ORLOV
Looks quite well balanced this year. Lakeside looks the best pairing IMO. @speedwaygb didn't miss out any picks They did, the announcements for the second round first was Poole getting Stark, second was three picks to go, Leicester to go next. MrMungo
Belle Vue had already protected Worrall - one of those "lost" announcements!
SPEEDY69
The confusion is being caused simply because it wasn't an open and fair draft - as soon as they had agreed teams could 'protect' riders it made the draft unworkable from a fairness point of view. And I agree with earlier posters that EL averages should have been used where available.

No they didn't - he's a BV asset and so they get first dibs. The point is Swindon didn't protect a rider and chose a rider AFTER Poole in the first round so logic tells you that they would pick ahead of Poole in the second round - especially when Poole's rider was one of the highest scoring FTRs last year!! Its as simple as that really!! Its a total farce! Edited November 26, 2014 by Steve0

Ahhh missed that! Good Business from Belle Vue getting younger riders on there books! So something else Swindon never really thoight about! In the end its Swindons fault... Whats the saying go like!
