weatherwatcher
It seems a complete farce if you have a list of FTR and out of those a club can protect a rider. If it comes down to the nitty gritty of things if Leicester have the first pick of group A then they should do just that pick any of the riders named in that group, not be left with the ones that the other teams have already taken out, who on the whole will be the riders that where the best of the bunch last year. All of the riders should be made available to the teams in the order that they are given in the pick of them. It is silly is out of the choice of group A 5 or six of the best have already been taken by a team that protects them. Out of that it only leaves maybe 2 or 3 riders to pick from from the group A riders a bit daft that. Not much choice left is there.
proud panther
What would happen if a rider owned their own contract, or a sponsor etc bought it off the club who the rider belonged to ?
Pirates Of Poole
Is Garrity & Newman remaining in the system? Other topic slightly off this one does anyone know if the british reduction has been re-introduced? Was 2.5% in the past.

Other topic slightly off this one does anyone know if the british reduction has been re-introduced? Was 2.5% in the past. Â Â Fair question PoP. Normally I would say that if there is no reference to the British reduction in the official statement, then everything would be the same as the previous season!!! Â Clearly though there are a few quite important things missing from this year's post-AGM statement, that anything can be possible. Obviously its nothing directly to do with Fans as long as the promoters know themselves as its them that have to do the team-building, but........... Â ........ they wonder why fans/forums get upset!!
SCB
Draw delayed due to traffic. how can the sport expect to be taken seriously when two years running we have a live draw in twitter and two years running it's run late? And last years was poorly done, it should be one name announced every 2 minutes, not 3 or 4 one one tweet. Make it last 30-40 minutes, bit of suspense. Even if in reality the draw is done in 3 or 4 minutes in the office.
mdmc82
Yes agree, hopefully it will be one announcement per tweet not the whole of group 1 followed by rest of draft so have to wait ages for it and then over in 2 tweets. SCB
I'm guessing thats the order, which is certainly interesting! They seem to be order by PL average

John Leslie
I'm guessing thats the order, which is certainly interesting! They seem to be order by PL average If that's the order then it's a very strange order. Newman only 6th best? What a joke! (wonder who's getting him?) Blackbird only 7th best? Worrall better than Auty?
Woz01
I have to say Newman and Blackbird seem a little low.

It would be odd to rate EL riders that way and not use their EL averages if they have one. Edited November 26, 2014 by SCB
SteveLyric2
It doesn't mention any ranking order on either Tier 1 or tier 2!! Â Â For example look at how far down Sergeant is in Tier 2?? Below Compton? Seriously?! Draw delayed due to traffic. how can the sport expect to be taken seriously when two years running we have a live draw in twitter and two years running it's run late? Silly question I guess.

For example look at how far down Sergeant is in Tier 2?? Below Compton? Seriously?!  Tier 2 don't need to be be in any kind of order, It's only Tier 1 that need to be in order, (assuming that the ranking of tier 1 is what determines the picking order for round 2).  Of course we don't know if Tier 1 are ranked in order. It could be that pick 1 goes from Leicester up to Poole, and pick 2 goes from Poole down to Leicester.  We still haven't been told the rules of the draft.
BluPanther
http://There have been major traffic issues on the Midlands motorways this morning, hence there may be a delay to today's Fast Track Draft. An overnight stay would have been the professional approach, but hey ho it's speedway...
Ben91
Having checked it's PL average and where the rider has no PL average it's NL average. It would be odd to rate EL riders that way and not use their EL averages if they have one. PL is a better indicator of their actual ability than last years EL scores though. Â Some shocking names on that list. Benji Compton, Simon Lambert, James Cockle.
SCB
PL is a better indicator of their actual ability than last years EL scores though. How so? Thats that same EL with that format that they'll be scoring the points in again this year.
John Leslie
PL is a better indicator of their actual ability than last years EL scores though. Â No it isn't. PL runs to a completely different race format.
Alan_Jones
Could be that they've gone back to the original idea of the 2nd round order just being the reverse of the 1st, so no need for grading.
