Coventry 2015

Tweedle Dee and Dum come out with the same crap as usual.

Harris at Leicester riding for the Bees, which is where my money was spent, was very very ordinary and the rest of them awful.

You both concentrate on other meetings to try and justify an abysmal performance

What the hell is wrong with you? It's a Coventry thread so I thought I'd put his performance on here which was good. If you read the meeting thread you will see I wasn't happy with the performance of most, bomber scored ok in that, not great but ok. I won't insult you back as I won't stoop to your level but if you want to insult me I'd rather you say it to my face. Oh and by the way me and mdmc82 have rarely got on in the past as she will tell you herself.

Really don't know why I bother on here. I give out a result of a Bees rider and I get stick for it. No point or need for it but I won't bother anymore.

I wonder if we will wait for Woodward to become fit or will too many meetings have passed by then?

Lets see how Jamrog gets on after Friday's meeting, if he's miles off the pace and fails to score then afraid I would be looking to make a change asap.

New averages come out in May so ideally if changes were needed it would happen before then. I'm clinging on to the hope that Jamrog will do well at Brandon the track isn't new to him and beaten Nicholls Bjarne and KK in of his heats on his last visit. Having said that he will need to improve away to stay in the side. Edited by woz01

I really hope you are correct, but I think he will struggle and we could loos the vast majority of the next eight meetings after the Wolverhampton match.

Way too soon to be panicking - however, Cameron Woodward for Jakub Jamrog would not have changed the scoreline by very much. Changing him is not the answer based on this meeting. All the riders need to step it up this Friday which I am sure they will.

Really? Cam could have scored 10ish meaning the Bees would have been looking at score 35ish. Throw in a few more for Hans and suddenly it's respectable - get Robbo scoring a few more too and it's not all bad IMO

I think Fridays meeting will be very different with the Cov boys back on familier ground and some of the new Lions riders seeing the track for the first time or for the first time in a long time. Yesterday it was clear the Lions had benefited from the practice day (and prior days to that too) and it was great to see how well they all performed. I think Friday's meeting will be the meeting we expected on Sunday i.e a close run thing with the home side just nicking it. such a result should not be comkpared to any meeting with the Lions of last year who now have six new riders who rider for rider are noticably better than those they have replaced for 2015.

Only one Leicester rider is seeing it for the first time. Wozniak.

If Cameron Woodward had scored 10ish then he will have been a better signing than you said he would before his injury problem!!

10 from 6? Hardly Earth shatteringly great from a second string. Not compared to some of the riders who were (and in some cases are) still available. Imagine how many Pawlicki would have scored.... To get 10 all he'd have to have done is beat Leicesters second strings and reserves.

Easy for a second string?! No-one got 10 apart from Harris with riders taking R/R rides so......................

Indeed...!!!

Trouble is his other three scores were 0 0 0 if I remember right

That is true one of them a fall but the line up was better than he will face on Friday. I was just pointing out he can do it and he has shown it at Brandon not necessarily that I think he will on a consistent basis.

That was the meeting where Hansen also looked great and look how that turned out. We have One of the weakest 2nd strings in the league
