I'm sure he will improve, but is he going to improve so rapidly that he can average 6.50 or more in the next couple of weeks? Because that's what we will need from our number 4 if we want to have a good go at making the play offs, it's a tough league this season. I think he is not at EL standard yet and needs to go and develop himself in the PL for a while first. I'd like to see what he does at Brandon on Friday, hes ridden there before and put in a quick time so he should know what to expect. We have time and room to make changes if necessary in the next month, if he and Robson continue scoring low then I'm sure changes will happen. SCB
The beuty of being a point under the limit that that we don't need to panic- we have plenty of scope to replace the two second strings if things don't improver and theres plenty of options out there - you only need one PL 6-9 pointer to decide to have a great season and you sign them up to replace Robbo is he's still struggling. But judging Robbo on a track like Leicester, probably not the best idea!

This is it we have until May when the first set of averages come out, no point in panicking yet. Options are out there if needed.

Brandon
Dear o dear. It's a challenge meeting, first meeting of the year and missing our No1 so didn't expect us to win. But that was a total tonking! Unacceptable performance especially against your local rivals. RR - was a waste of time. Condolences to Hans. Robson - was not at the races. May not like the track but he's been around long enough now to at least compete. King - only heat winner but faded fast. Jamrog - the Thompson twins looked more assured. I know people will say give him time, but on this performance it's time to go! Harris - no race wins but still the best Bee on display. If he could gate.......... Garrity - plenty of fight and a great tussle with Wozniak. Sarjent - gave it a go but like the rest was behind the two Lions before the first turn. fair play to Leicester they gated and raced when needed. They have a solid team this year and with Auty at reserve they will always be in contention. Let's see how we do in the return leg. #notveryhappy Edited March 15, 2015 by Brandon

Woz01
Pawlicki was always highly unlikely. Harris scored 2,2,3,ef in Schlein testimonial so far. He was leading his 4 ride until he retired.
Robbobee
I know it is still early days, plus the first match on a track where gating is paramount however Jakub Jamrog just does not look likely to be a 6 point middle order man in the elite league in my opinion.... Surely we can do better given the points we have to play with in terms of team building? Disappointing to know these riders do not want to come over and ride in the UK but when you think we could have fitted in Pawlicki, MJJ, Kylmakorpi or Milik  I'll be the first to eat humble pie if Jakub makes the grade and I really hope he does but somehow I think he needs PL experience first. As for Robbo - has to be a blip surely !!?? Had my nose rubbed into it from a few of my Leicester Lions fan mates - suggested it will be a different story on Fri when at Brandon and with Hansi back - but have some trepidation about that fixture too given how the LLions went today !!

Harris at Leicester riding for the Bees, which is where my money was spent, was very very ordinary and the rest of them awful. You both concentrate on other meetings to try and justify an abysmal performance

Riders do have off meetings (Doyle struggled tonight) Edited March 15, 2015 by mdmc82

Trees
Bomber looked pretty good and fast to me, got a couple of dedicated mechanics, hope he has a good year!
