Coventry 2015

Recommended Posts

my post edited to nothing (see posts below) obviously I don't know the rules - however thought there was scope with rule. 7.1.4.7,b sub-section 9.4.7 a, However now know that one altered in 2013. Whoops - probably have to make do with Klindt then ! God help us.

obviously the visa rules dictate - but rather would rather try Mr Ryan Fisher than the rubbish mentioned already.

A dedicated Coventry individual with his final meeting for Cov last year providing a decent score and he showing total dignity - he should at least be given a chance if this is possible.

I have written many times before about the talent of Ryan - in the early days he had potential to have progressed and to have been an absolute star. in my opinion the poor influence of Billy (lock up your daughters) Janniro was the reason why this was not the case.

Ryan first joined Coventry as a JAWA works rider, which shows somebody in the know saw something good, but soon lost his deal.

An exciting rider to watch, who always gives 100 percent and sometimes more - causing a few spills - but hey that is the reason why speedway provides the buzz and excitement that so may enjoy week after week and look forward to the mid-March scenario when it starts all over again.

for 2015 I want Coventry to have a team of riders with passion - so far, I reckon the 6 signings will provide all that.

The 7th needs to show the same and not just be happy because it provides him an income.

Happy days

Coventry can't have anymore double up riders

Walasek signed for Leicester so that rules him out. I hope Horton can pull something out of the bag, a Pawlicki, Milik or Mads would give us a chance.

Mads has now put on Twitter that he's sitting uk out this year so rules him out. Can't see it being Shamak due to costs & Havvy not wanting Poles in the team which means that also rules out Buzz.

Klindt rumour looking most likely at the moment although with JK wanting to ride here, maybe he's a possibility depending on fixtures clashes.

With there now only being 8 teams in the league and teams looking stronger this year, the final rider could be the difference between top of the table or 7th place.

JK has confirmed on Twitter no contact from coventry but would be keen on return.

Much better than Klindt. Hopefully this means Horton has a strong rider in mind.

All those saying Klindt is the best out of riders wanting to ride in uk can now see that's not the case.

Really?? I've only been saying that for weeks while everyone was saying he would be good for your team. He may well be but he isn't riding in the UK this year - as you now seem to realise.

In fairness, Steve, riders do change their mind. Bjarne Pedersen being a prime example. Purely speculation of course, but I wonder, bearing in mind that Mads has made a twitter statement today, whether he's been weighing up an offer from Bees and has finally decided to decline.

Bjarne Pedersen also wasn't riding in the uk and now he is. Klindt had said the same.

What riders say and do can often be different things

With regard to Klindt, maybe he has a PL place (if one available) and that's his news as can't see Horton picking him over JK. Has done a great job of team building with the 6 other riders so far (shame Woodward got injured)
