Gemini
Lewis Bridger has tweeted that he has had to borrow half his speedway salary to race this season. Fair play to him for that. Strangely enough I was thinking differently when I had that email come through. Why didn't he stick with his original intention and take a year out if things are that desperate. TesarRacing
Wouldn't that apply to most speedway riders though.

EIS002
I like the look of the Coventry team and wish them all the best. Can't help to think that Havvy will make sure Lewis tows the line.

I hope not, Lewis has 8 weeks to get equipment ready hence the need to rush around and borrow. I doubt he has much sponsorship helping him at the minute. I'd say other riders started planning for this season before last season finished so he is way behind. Looking forward to watching this team this season to get my EL fix. I think they will do quite well.

Bridger is the safe option, Pawlicki was obviously everyone's number 1 choice though. Not too sure we will see Pawlicki in Britain this season. dj350z
He wasn't my No1 choice - I would rather have a Brit who will show up every week barring injuries.
SimonB
Having watched Lewis Bridger race from his first year in the National League I think he is one very talented rider. Given this is a relatively last minute decision to race this season maybe the added pressure of the debt might give him extra focus. Personally I am looking forward to seeing him race at Coventry this season.

JonHWeiner
I am looking forward to this season. I think the team is well balanced and if Hans gets back the form he had at the beginning of last season and Bomber is also on top form, the Bees have a good chance of doing well.
