SCB
Bridger takes the IQ of this side down even lower I thought that was impossible too but it has happened We'll certainly not be winning any quizes with our team
EnglishRoundabout
LBR will be fine. Another pearl of wisdom! A man wth real talent on a motor cycle, but many many issues. Previous for assaulting a member of the public, previous for assaulting a Lakeside fan, previousl mental health problems, previous financial problems etc etc. Watched him as a 17 year old guesting for Swindon at Oxford and thought he was a real talent. But in the harsh, cut throat world of a professional speedway rider, you need personal responsibility. Not sure he has that.

Agrotron
Lewis has matured a lot since his younger years I don't see why all the negative about this signing especially as a wheel has not been turned yet give the bloke a chance he may surprise a few, he did a great job guesting for us last year.
T.N.T.
MJJ would have been a better signing He would have been a great signing, especially when he has already said he will not be interested in riding in Britain in 2015. Always liked Lewis and he had great potential from day one but he got stuck in a rut at Eastbourne and needed to get away earlier to try bigger tracks and standards. He has had some good seasons and some bad but last season he was pretty good when he was in the mood. He obviously had issues at one point during the season and his meeting at Monmore Green with Lakeside was a real low point when he pulled up after a few laps in his three rides and didn;t want to be there. What was going on was something he will know but a few days later he scored 7+3 from four rides and a spell as a second string followed with some improved results still did ok when back as a heat leader but finished the season as a second string once more scoring 21+1 from 8 rides. Maybe he hasn't reached his full potential or enough consistancy but if this is the season to turn it around he will be a great signing and part of a good top four.

He threatens to quit every 3 months and pulls wheelies at the back so cant see how he has matured. Hes a complete tool and all his threats to jack it in are attention seeking so mumps on twitter will tweet him saying you are the best and please dont quit.

People keep saying about him quitting/retiring all the time. He's done it once. Do agree, he's an attention seeker though
SteveLyric2
Well he'll need to create a fair bit of attention now as he has to get a full set of decent bikes and equipment together, having got rid of all his previous kit!!

JonHWeiner
Re: Lewis Bridger - Please give the bloke a chance to see what sort of form he is in in at the beginning of the season. I think King and Bridger look a good pairing at 3/4 - perhaps a bit of healthy competition for the third heat leader spot might be useful.
Woz01
Lewis Bridger has tweeted that he has had to borrow half his speedway salary to race this season. Fair play to him for that.
T.N.T.
Lewis Bridger has tweeted that he has had to borrow half his speedway salary to race this season. Fair play to him for that. May be wrong but I think he has done something like this before with Eastbourne or Martin Hagon ? Lewis will be a second string at the start of the season on a 6.72 average. Davey Watt 6.71, Jacob Thorssell 6.25, Rory Schlein 6.22 and Nick Morris 6.31 have lower averages and start as heat leaders so to get a rider of that standard, Bees should be happy they have got him. Yes he is unpredictable, but he is an entertainer, a racer and a very determined rider that could be the signing that makes Bees one of if not the strongest looking team to start the season. ....... However while they look great, all of them having questionable periods during a season and if two or more have these at the same time they could be in trouble.
