deanr1
£18 is expensive but the reality is there is no money in British speedway, it costs a lot to run a meeting and with only small crowds that means the entry prices have to be high to make it anywhere near viable. If Mick charged us all £15 we would probably not have a competitive side or worse than that no speedway at all.
Crazy robin
Howarth has signed for Swindon. Incidentally, the Bees look good so far I reckon. Rosco stated last week that no riders have signed for Swindon apart from the reserves.
thecoombdog
Any chance of Jason Doyle signing for Cov ? None at all. Leicester bound. Rosco stated last week that no riders have signed for Swindon apart from the reserves. I dont think hes telling the truth!

How do you work that out ? buy charging more the crowds could dip meaning that you don't bring more money in . With speedway in a poor way and people's wages static this is a really poor move from Horton .

I personally don't mind as it's cheaper for kids at Brandon than most other places.

Crowds will dip more if you have a crap team that's for sure, even the mighty Pirates found that out a few years ago when they were struggling at the bottom of the league.

It will either be a new 5pt rider or either Summers/Robson

Brandon
The increase will be for a reason. Probably running cost (riders wages, other employees and rent of the stadium) and a slice for the promoter. Nothing wrong in that.
