Sir Jasper
Looks very solid to me.... Much more solid than we did last year in fact.
Woz01
Having 4 of the 7 riders back in the side from 2014 would be a huge boost.
mdmc82
Would be very disappointed if that was the team. Hardly the exciting news horton suggested! Would personally be disappointed if that was the team as Horton said it's going to be an exciting one. Howarth or Fricke would have been great

Woz01
On paper it's better than last year's team, we actually have a decent 3rd heat leader. So what if it's dull, winning is the name of the game. SCB could be wrong 😉

Bees_Man
Where's the up and coming talent. Howarth, fricke? Summers and Woodward, really?!
Woz01
Hoe so! But hee's never wrong, didn't you know ha ha. I'd say rarely wrong! Can't be that dull a side with Bomber and Garrity in it anyway. We will have to wait and see how others line up before I decide how good it will actually be. Where's the up and coming talent. Howarth, fricke? Summers and Woodward, really?! Unfortunately there is little point in signing these riders as assets when the future of the stadium is so uncertain. I'd agree with you if our future was secure. To be fair we have two of the younger draft riders this year.
SCB
On paper it's better than last year's team, we actually have a decent 3rd heat leader. So what if it's dull, winning is the name of the game. SCB could be wrong Hoe so! But hee's never wrong, didn't you know ha ha. I'm not one for posting rumours but I have been given that team by a few people now so I'm fairly confident (but still hoping for some amazing rabit on a 5 point average rather than Summers). Even more so now Lakeside have signed Bech so don't look like having space for King. Plus King and Hans get on well form their Ipswich (and Peterborough) days. Summers just fits too nicely to not be the last rider. As I said, my take on it is that Summers will put a point and a half on his average in this format while Woodward should spend the year as a second string so while he's not a great signing, he will be better than a lot of what teams end up with at second string due to the lack of riders. When you look at the spaces left and the rider available a few teams are going to start a few points under the limit so we're going to be a point or two up on them before we even start. heathen chemistry
would of gone for michelsen instead of woodward and paired him up with kenni larsen add harris , and you'd be left with about 13 points for last 2 riders pick 2 from riders like..... king , fisher , barker , howarth , fricke, smolinski , Edited November 28, 2014 by heathen chemistry

But we know bomber, we know what he'll do. Andersen, King, Summers, Woodward, really? Boring! . I just hope to god SCB is wrong!
foreverblue
Danny King is a good signing always seems to go well at Coventry, didn't let Poole down in the play offs either. Summers on the other hand is a poor signing in my opinion. A team of Hans, Harris, King and Woodward has a good solid look but i would overlook Summers and get a rider thats likely to improve more.
mdmc82
Where's the up and coming talent. Howarth, fricke? Summers and Woodward, really?! That's my thinking. Howarth best rider for us end of season & play offs, Fricke was great Summers is a bit of a step backwards and both him and Woodward struggle on away tracks where we need to get points like last year. Guess we will have to wait and see Bees fans were moaning on mass about the unavailability of Kyle last season !! It was only when the play offs arrived & there were no fixture clashes they piped down ! ...Would you like Horton to sign an exciting rider who you can get excited about just now & again ? Always able to get good guests for him when not available and when he did ride he was great to watch esp at Brandon.
foreverblue
You could get Kasprzak instead of Hans and then you could have Howarth.
Woz01
Howarth will be at Swindon anyway. Summers will score more than Fricke at home going by Frickes meeting against Poole, Summers is very good at Brandon. Away could be a different matter though. Studland Bee
Am really disappointed in not signing AJ, by far a more exciting rider than Hans Anderson, and a genuine number one. If its AJ that does not want to ride for Coventry then that's different and Lakeside should buy him, this asset system is a joke. I think we could have done better than Woodward also looking at his form away from Eastbourne. If we are really interested in actually winning the Elite League then we need to put some top quality riders in support of Bomber, Jason, and James. When Poole announce their side you will see exactly what I mean. My thoughts anyway...

stevebrum
You could get Kasprzak instead of Hans and then you could have Howarth. Id pity any EL club that signed Kasprzak (barring Poole).
