Coventry 2015

I'm guessing Garrity has accepted the invitation to the draft therefore he'll be a reserve and not in the main body. As far as I know nobody has rejected the invitation to be in the draft

whether he doesn't want to be at Coventry is a different matter

I think you misread a post Joe-- Garrity DOES want to be at Cov. apparently.

He's on the draft and not in bees 1-5 as some suggested. Still hearing he doesn't want to be protected in it so I guess not long until we find out. Still see him being at Wolves.

If he's protected he'll be at Coventry obviously.

If he's not protected, Leicester go first but won't pick him due to his saturday clash with Rye House. Belle Vue go second and should pick him.....but Belle Vue will stupidly put loyalty to Worrall ahead of the obvious league winning pick of Garrity. So Wolves go 3rd and will take him.

Coventry should pick Garrity. If he doesn't want to be at Coventry they should then see if BV (Worrall) or Wolves (Blackbird) will swap rather than taking 1 of the 3 left over from Roynon, Boxall and probably Birks.

I will trust Phil The Ace posts he is usually spot on.

That's what I thought when read them yesterday but now he is in the draft.

Coventry will get last pick if Garrity isn't protected

Why would BV or Wolves swap?

If Coventry don't protect Garrity, and Leicester can't pick him, then BV can just take Garrity without needing a deal with Coventry (And Coventry can't have Worrall because if BV don't take him, then Swindon do).

Similarly with Wolves, If Leicester and BV both turn down Garrity, then Wolves just take him. No need to do a deal with Cov.

Surely Coventry MUST protect Garrity or they'll be picking up the scraps.

Coventry can not pick Garrity. It means they're left with Boxall, Birks and Roynon - hardly flattering. Yet someone else gets Garrity. But if Coventry pick Garrity, at least they can try and beg one of the teams with a better draft riders to swap. Thats why Coventry need to pick him regardless.
