Woz01
Redcar have said Jason Garrity has pulled out of Silver helmet meeting tonight due to injury. Id guess he is just resting, apparently he is still in a bit of pain after his back injury
Game On
I have no idea..........just like you! True but we all know it won't happen, as for AJ he would come back if Mick made the call.

Woz01
I think Havvy meant we would have a guest over R/R not that a signing wasn't happening. Probably won't be one mind you.
SCB
If we can't find a new rider it has to be R/R at 5, Hans at 2. Hans and Bomber is a strong beat 1 pairing but generally putting him at 2 means a big gap from last ride in heat 10/11 if he needed in heat 15, but using him as R/R in 13 solves that. full-throttle
rumours circulating that a five figure sum was turned down by more than one rider.
Woz01
rumours circulating that a five figure sum was turned down by more than one rider. £100.01p 👍. In all seriousness if that was true then cant fault the promotion if they cant find anyone. Not that I do believe it of course.
SteveLyric2
Perhaps it was wanting the '5 figure sum'up front that was the problem, rather then just a 'promise'?

Unfortunately Havvy isn't that smart and tends to use his riders in average order per R/R heat. Hence why we've seen Harris, King, Andersen, Howarth as the consecutive rides. :/
shinyhine
Hats off to mick he has tried to get someone of quality in there is no point in spending money on someone inadequate to do the job required

SteveLyric2
Or perhaps your just trying to rock the boat like you did with a post on another thread. Sorry, I thought it was Mick Horton himself saying that Coventry had take a huge financial hit a few weeks ago and was asking fans to contribute to the club?! Correct me if I'm wrong but , if true, that would have the effect of making it difficult to pay a large amount up front for anything - let alone a decent rider not currently in the EL?! Wouldn't it? But you don't know if it was coming out of the clubs coffers we also have sponsors who are wealthy enough to help out. As I said your posts was designed to cause issues and friction. As it is it seems we are paying Lindgren well enough to bring his Swedish bikes over even though he still has the Swedish playoff final, I doubt he would risk it otherwise! foreverblue
No sure about relying on a Wolves rider to give his all for Coventry!
