Steve0
well seems like other teams are panicking if the emil deal had worked out it would of made coventry favourites in the playoffs As it is - out of the 4 teams, Coventry are the weakest - so easy to see why Poole picked them
Woz01
As it is - out of the 4 teams, Coventry are the weakest - so easy to see why Poole picked them Are they? The two meetings between Cov and Swindon suggests they are very tight while if Cov faced Belle Vue Cov would probably win comfortably. Poole picked Cov because of their two victories at Brandon not necessarily because they are the weakest.
scottyfan
So, we have failed in a bid to land Woffinden. That's a damn shame .....and Zmarzlik, Emil, Dudek, Piotr Pawlicki....according to the paper today.
Starman2006
It seems to be mainly Poole & Swindon fans who are questioning it and interested in our search for a replacement We don't give a monkeys who you sign, assuming you sign somebody. But if you go overseas for a reckonised rider, its going to cost you, or should i say the club..
scottyfan
well seems like other teams are panicking if the emil deal had worked out it would of made coventry favourites in the playoffs How could Coventry fit Emil into their line up when he has around an 8 point average?? But couldn't fit AJ into their line up (if it had been allowed) on a 7 point average because his average is too high????????

Cant sign AJ as he is named to another club and cant guest as his average is higher than JK. Bees have 8.3 for team building to replace JK as the top 5 is under the limit
full-throttle
Of course we are. No change and you are toast against Poole. But why does that bother Swindon fans? because coventry would be the opposition in the final... so like POOle, the SWINEdon lot are crapping themselves Edited September 9, 2015 by full-throttle

A ORLOV
Oooh, is this why they have put their prices up for the semi? Yes, a crowd of 500 will give them a few £s to pay for one.
Woz01
Oooh, is this why they have put their prices up for the semi? 😐£15 quid if you went tonight so for a lot of people it's a reduction to be fair plus season ticket holders are free. Got to be honest i don't mind paying 2 quid extra for a semi final you'd pay much more extra than that in any other sport. Just to add that Hans Andersen scored 14 from 5 rides in Denmark tonight. Seems to be picking up form. Edited September 9, 2015 by woz01

abbo
So far so good well done Mick Horton 2nd in the league is outstanding, you prepared a competitive team which has given us this position to date. Coventry are potential winners in the Play offs however there is a Problem that JK couldn't finish the season he is a terrific rider but we go into the play offs short of a top calibre rider as a replacement for Joonas. I don't see R/R as suitable for the most important meetings for a number of seasons. If Poole were in a similar position they would have signed a top rated rider as they have In the past I.e. Hancock, Pawlicki both still Coventry assets I believe. Mick shock us all and find that rider who WILL help the rest of the team to be winners.

If you think Mick will pull a rabbit out of the hat, you will be in for a long wait. AJ would never comeback. I don't know why he's mentioned every year! AJ would come back next year for sure if Mick ever picked up the phone and called him.

You must be very well connected if you know exactly what the promoters are planning to do and what the riders plans are for next year!!
