INCOGNITO
If Coventry protect Garrity and Kings Lynn protect Kerr, then Poole can't pinch Rose as Newman is higher ranked than both and there Coventry and Kings Lynn would pick before Poole in the second draft. There is Worrall Kerr Newman and Garrity are protected from Grade A and Ellis from Grade B. Wolves are not protecting and Jacobs but waiting to see who is available as they will likely get to pick before Coventry Poole Kings Lynn and Leicester at least. Do you actually know this, as I didn't think the FTDR list had been confirmed yet and the last active greensheet including FTDR (October), has the descending order as Blackbird, Kerr, Garrity, Newman and Worrall. As the play-off meetings don't count for averages, I can't see why the order would differ much, just with Auty slotted in somewhere towards the top. T.N.T.
The ranking of the fast track riders is more likely based on the riders Premier League averages and if so it would be 1= Lewis Kerr (7.54) 2= Steve Worrall (7.54) 3= Josh Auty (7.04) 4= Jason Garrity (6.75) 5= Charles Wright (6.64) 6= Kyle Newman (6.53) 7= Lewis Blackbird (6.30) 8= Ashley Birks (5.68) 9= Steve Boxall (5.34) 10= Adam Roynon (4.80) If Kerr (KL), Worrall (BV), Garrity (Cov) and Newman (P) are going to be protected then Leicester get first pick and it is thought by some that Charles Wright could be their choice. Wolves would likely go for Lewis Blackbird being a former Dudley rider which would then leave Lakeside with the next pick and of the four left they would surely go with Auty and then Swindon would have last pick from Boxall and Roynon as Birks rides for a Thursday night track. Second picks would then start with the lowest Grade A rider giving them consecutive picks with Sarjeant, Rose, Starke, Jacobs, Nielsen etc Edited November 24, 2014 by T.N.T. double_O
Kenneth Hansen will not be riding in Britain next year and Garrity has signed for Rye House in the PL. It's due to a family illness. A bit more important than your money wise jokes! This family illness hasn't stopped him signing for Workington I see. CaptainAudi
This family illness hasn't stopped him signing for Workington I see. He put on his Facebook that his relative has recovered much quicker than expected, and he is confident in his/her health enough to be able to race here now. philfromcov
i know we are entering the "silly season" but: Kenneth Hansen was rubbish last year, who would want him back? also we dont not want any rejects from pugwash thanks holder 100% no at best he is terminally boring to watch ward? 1000% no, he is not as good as he thinks he is!

Aces51
TNT, it would silly to base the rankings on PL averages alone and I would hope that Neil Vatcher would take into account a whole range of factors including how particular averages were obtained. For example, Worrall ride at reserve for Edinburgh for much of the season whereas others gained their average riding only in the 1-5. The EL average for those in the draft last year is a better guide because you can make truer comparisons. All factors, including how they progressed throughout the season and how they were ranked at the end of the season should be taken into account. T.N.T.
But in the PL they didn't have two easy reserves races and a reserve could score 10+2 from 5 rides by just beating reserves. Its not a true reflection of their ability and their PL averages are official. I will admit that the top seven in my opinion are very close to each other while Birks, Boxall and Roynon are the weakest three but at least they should have a decent reserve partner
Bagpuss
Any grading really should reflect a rider's achievements in both leagues last year, both are relevant to their overall ability.
abbo
Why should Garrity be a fast track rider, surely his is good enough for 1 to 5 in any Premier side hopefully Coventry. His. Riding us worth more than £40 a point!

His. Riding us worth more than £40 a point! I think it's going to be more than 40 quid a point next year. Anyway Garrity is on par with the rest on the grade A list so I don't see why he shouldn't be on it. Riding us worth more than £40 a point! Of course he is good enough - on current strength of the EL. I think one of the points of the draft system was to give these riders time to establish themselves. One good season surely isn't enough.
