Coventry 2015

Bees have tried to sign several riders including Tai, Emil Dudek and Zmarzlik according to the daily star article

So, we have failed in a bid to land Woffinden. That's a damn shame

IF true then Coventry are the club that Pete Adams said made an illegal approach to Tai. So I'm delighted the Bees failed on that count IF TRUE.

Yeah seems like it.

Has Horton tried more realistic targets? Fair play to him for going after a stellar signing but someone who knows Britain well can be just as beneficial.

We have approached a number of riders, both new to the UK and established names. Edited by NeilWatson

Coventry fans are getting Levy'd like all us Spurs fans do every transfer window. Approach players who you know aren't interested and when you are turned down just say oh well we did try. Woffy has made it clear he will only ride for 1 British club.

To be fair he has to ask the question otherwise fans would get on his back. The signing will not be in the class of the riders named.

Sounds like Horton is really trying. Would have been great to have Emil.

Not really sure if I would trust Tai against Poole.

How about Larsen or Pedersen?

I think Larsen is injured not heard anything since his crash in Sweden last month, he would've been ideal.

Why wouldn't you trust Woffy against Poole? Hes a Wolves man through and through.

Nicki Pedersen? The names you lot are coming out with are utterly ridiculous.

Wasn't Jonasson asking about a EL place? I know he isn't the class of the riders being mentioned but still maybe better than r/r.

Again, he's tainted and couldn't be trusted against Poole.

He's also the kind of rider who gives up when things get a bit tough. You could see him agreeing to come but giving it half an effort and scoring 0, especially from a heat leader berth.

Save the cash and go with RR and don't jeopardise the financial footing of the club any further chasing a tie which can't be won is my advice.
