Crazy robin
Kyle needs to ride for a team who don't have Friday as their home race night so he gets as much track time as possible. I guess Swindon have got in quick & it would make sense for Kyle on that basis.

YerRopes
Rummers Howarth has been signed by Swindon ! If this is the case, does that make room for young Max Fricke at Brandon... Still think MF the younger is destined for the land of black...
orion
Poole get last pick in round 1 and first pick in round 2. Lynn get last but 1 pick in round 1 and 2nd pick in round 2. Coventry will get to pick in round 2 after Poole and Lynn. TBH, in Garrity they have the 5th best rider (Auty, Blackbird, Kerr, Newman ahead of them) any way so if it is done on order of the 1st pick Coventry would get 4th pick in round 2. So they're 3rd of 4th. Leicester, BV and Wolves will surely want Bates, Nielsen and Jacobs/Morris back and Lakeside will pick Ellis. Meaning Coventry get Sarj anyway, The only way Coventry can lose Sarj is if Poole pick him. To protect Sarj and possibly be left with Roynon, Birks and Boxall is madness. The difference between Auty/Kerr and Garrity is minimal while Auty/Kerr to Roynon/Birk/Boxall is quite big. Of the 2nd group, there not a lot between Ellis/Sarj/Nielsen/Starke who have all been named as "top 2nd pick". By average last year Sarj was lower than Ellis, Starke, Nielsen, Morley, Rose, Jacobs, Morris and Bates. Im not getting why he's some "must have". I enjoyed watching him ride last season, given a choice I'd pick him but not at the expect of Garrity who is going places and should next year be a second string - you can't say that of Boxall or Birks and I'd not want to put money on Roynon being there either. I got told that if Poole took a asset in the first draft then they get the last pick second ? so if that is correct and kl and cov do the same then surely common sense tells you that kl get 7th pick in the second draft and Cov get 6th pick . Not saying that i am correct but thats what i have been told on the topics on this subject
Steve0
I see Sarj is riding for Glasgow in the PL next season

T.N.T.
There are 10 Grade A riders to pick from and the team finishing bottom (Leicester) get to pick first and so on moving up. However each team can protect One rider that is either an asset or rode for that track in 2014. This can be a rider in either group but only one in total. These 10 riders will be ranked from 1~10 and it is this ranking that will determine the order of teams that pick in the second draft. Kyle Newman (Poole), Steve Worrall (Swindon), Lewis Kerr (KL) and Jason Garrity (Cov) are likety to be protected in the first draft so Leicester will pick first followed by Wolves, Lakeside and Swindon last. In round two the order of pick will be the team with the lowest ranked Grade A rider and so on. However their may be protected riders like Adam Ellis at Lakeside, Joe Jacobs at Wolves and Nathan Greaves at Swindon. It is likely that having the last pick in round one, Swindon would get first pick in the second draft so may not need to protect Greaves and could pick from the list that will include James Sarjeant, Paul Starke, Lewis Rose etc. If Jason Garrity is ranked number three, Coventry would get fifth pick so unlikely to have Sarjeant or Jacobs still available. Are you having a giraffe? Why on earth would any team want to protect Nathan Greaves? He certainly won't be back at Swindon - burnt bridges and all that!

He certainly won't be back at Swindon - burnt bridges and all that! Did wonder the same. After all the trouble he caused at Brandon and with his attitude, there is no way he will be at Coventry. Can see him being left on the draft.
deanr1
If we sign a rider like summers or fricke for example, assuming we are keeping Howarth Harris and Andersen it gets difficult to maximise the 34 limit with the two over 7 rule. I hope we don't go for Summers, he's a decent lad who always gives his best and under the old format he was a good reserve, but he's not good enough to be a second string in this league especially now there has been a points limit increase and he will be up against even better riders. Fricke would be a good shout, plenty of improvement in him and that is what you need.

Woz01
Holder has been inconsistent at Coventry in the past but I'd sign him if there was any chance. I doubt there is though.
