Reported on BSPA website Robbo to sit out the rest of the season now.

All the best wishes to Stuart.

Up the bees.

Shame but probably for the best after a few knocks to the head. Hopefully back racing next season.

Is there any plans for a collection for Darcy during one of the meetings next week?

Personally think its too early to have any collections for Darcy Ward. The family have not revealed the full extent Of Darcy Wards injuries and so the donating public have no idea on what scale to donate..

I agree.

I would like to see a collection for Robbo though.

Ps not comparing.

Could do with JK and King picking up some form over here.

Looks like Danny might be back to his best judging by his score tonight so far at Foxhall.

Stuart phoned Coventry and Redcar on the morning of Monday 24th and informed both management teams that he was unable to ride again this season. Stuart did a few laps at Redcar and did not feel comfortable and felt far from race fit, unfortunately he also seized an engine during the practice. I have spoken to him this week and he has reluctantly made this decision. As most will know he has had a few knocks recently including a heavy crash riding for Redcar before the first bend incident at Lakeside. Stuart I am sure will be back for the 2016 season. I think the press release from Coventry could have been worded differently, they may well have been thinking of replacing Stuart through fitness or other reasons, but Stuart had actually informed the club of his decision not to ride again this season prior to the announcement of the Kyle Howarth signing. That's my thoughts anyway.

Wouldn't be surprised with that, given Horton's recent PR.disasters.

Are you for real? While we have not heard officially how bad his injuries are - we are all smart enough to see that his injuries are life changing.

I think we can assume it's not just a tummy ache! With the best news in the world, he's going to need a lot of support. I can understand Coventry fans being more inclined to support one of their own, but I'll genuinely be annoyed if we don't have one at Poole and Swindon at least.

We're being told not to speculate. So all we know is that he's in good spirits and has the use of his arms. Any more than that is the speculation we have been asked not to do.

I don't believe I was speculating from what I've read but what a tightwad dornier is! Do they want to see a medical certificate before they donate - sheesh!

His point was so far the official releases have played things down. So clubs should NOT be having a collection for him or they are speculating on how bad it is. We're been asked not to speculate, so clubs should show some respect and carry on as normal for now - anything else is speculating on his condition.

You've all gone off on one. Why?

As I see it, he's only suggesting we hold fire until we get more information and know better where to contribute?

It's a very emotional time and we are all in shock, anger, disbelief and reading things wrongly..

We already know where to contribute. There is an official fund set up by Mark Lemon, endorsed by Chris Holder. They would not be asking people to donate if Darcy didn't honestly need it. We don't know the extent of his injuries sure, but with no speculation necessary, his friends have seen fit to start a collection, they know more than we do. It's safe to assume it's not too early to start collecting.

Having said that, I'll be the first to concede emotions are running high right now. Of course it's up to everyone to decide if, when and how much they want to donate.

We're not all up to date with his situation though.. Do you honestly think there was any malice in what he said?

You are making issues out of a post, that in my view was doing exactly what Davey Watt asked, which was to hold fire...

Not sure why the vitriol was unleashed, It was pretty clear to me what he meant..

There are serious tossers doing their best to disrupt this forum though!

Actually, who are you?
