So what do these different role entail

And are these people present at no televised matches (possibly not the meeting co-ordinator)

The meeting co-ordinator is there to oversee track preparation and try to get a meeting on in poor weather. They also liaise between the meeting steward and Sky, the press and public. The meeting steward has full control of delays and abandonment of the meeting in consultation with the promoter, referee and meeting co-ordinator and sanctions the pre-meeting track walk and makes track inspections. Both roles only exist for televised meetings.

Hans Andersen says there's loads more to come from high-flying Coventry Bees

"I just dread to think what will happen when everyone clicks on the same day"

Hans Andersen has stressed his commitment to the Coventry cause after another ultra-impressive away performance at Wolverhampton on Monday.

Andersen recovered from first-ride ignition trouble to reel off four unbeaten rides in a display which was every bit as good as at another small track, Belle Vue, exactly a week earlier.

In between, though, there had been another tough night at Brandon on Friday, where Andersen scored just one point and was replaced in his final ride.

But a maximum in Poland 48 hours later again indicated that the issues are equipment-related rather than down to the rider – and when the Dane is able to bring his recent away form back to his home circuit, Bees promise to become an even more powerful force.

Story Link Wolverhampton 40 Buildbase Bees 50: Harris stars again as Bees shine on the road

They won 50-40 at Monmore Green having taken the last five races by an incredible points swing of 23-7, and other results went their way with Poole losing at Belle Vue and Swindon missing out at Leicester.

Andersen said: “I was pretty confident before the meeting because I was on the engine I’d used at Belle Vue, and I brought a few bits and pieces with me from Poland.

“I knew I was going to do pretty well although maybe I didn’t expect to go through the card apart from my engine failure in heat one – but I went out and won the next one, so I was able to forget about that.

“The most important thing was that the team won. It’s really good, and I just dread to think what will happen when everyone clicks on the same day!

“I don’t think the whole team has actually all performed well together yet, it’s either me being carried or some other people, but we are a really good team and everyone is having fun.

“To not drop our heads after being 10-2 down after two races, and to still go out and win by ten points is amazing, and it just shows how good a team we are.

“We had good support as well and even the Wolves fans applauded us afterwards, but you have to take your hat off when credit is due. We rode really well as a team, especially in the second part of the meeting.”

Bees now have ten days before their next fixture, which is the return against Wolves at Brandon, and July is generally a quieter time during which they will see what their opponents are able to do in terms of closing the gap.

Their stunning away form means they may actually only need two or three more wins to mathematically secure a place in the play-offs, but ambitions remain high to top the table at the end of the regular season and gain choice of opponents in the semi-finals.

Kyle Howarth to return to Coventry ?

Would do them a big boost heading into the second half of the season and a good #2 but it's a shame Robbo would have to make way but it would strengthen the team big time.
