Coventry 2015

Recommended Posts

I guess the track at Coventry being different from meeting to meeting isn't helping Hans at all but he is also struggling in all his league & individual meetings abroad as well.

He's doing just fine in Poland. And he coped last season at Brandon when the track was generally considered much worse. It's all very odd.

You obviously weren't watching him in Poland yesterday when he scored a 15 point away maximum. Admittedly he was gifted one point by an engine failure when 2nd, but hardly struggling. ;) Regards. Alan.

. Its about time all this bull sh.. About track prep is put to bed! FACT sky big Ron or gospeed DO NOT tell track guys how to prep tracks...

REALLY????????????

From another thread:

EL promoters agreed a contract in about 2009 which effectively handed control of track preparation to GSI for all Sky broadcast matches. This was part of the overall contract covering such matches, and has remained in effect even after the expiry of the more substantial sponsorship deal with Sky a couple of years ago.

So a factually incorrect quote from another thread is what we have to go on! Must be true then.

GSI have nothing to do with Track Prep at televised meetings

It depends who you think the meeting co-ordinator is working for! The BSPA, Sky or GSI.

imo sky is and has been doing damage to speedway , insisting matches go ahead with terrible weather forcasts. which only mean very low turnouts

add to that teams forced to run on monday an off night for most clubs and usually when a club has already had a league match that week.......

occasionally there are good crowds...leicester proved that...

the PL also get good crowds ,

when neutrals tune in and see empty stadiums it gives the impression speedway is dead...

why not show matches with guaranteed crowds , local derbies etc

the lakeside match looked like it was being run behind closed doors....
