mdmc82
Robbo is out on his mountain bike every day looking to return on Monday at Belle Vue. He was considering riding at Redcar tonight, but decided the extra few days would help him back to full movement. Be great to have him back 👍
Robbobee
Stuart is hoping to be back at Belle Vue on Monday. Danny King will receive a new average (along with the rest of the Bees team) effective from 1st May. Hope Robbo is fit to return asap - Cov rider through and through! Assume from your later statement that Bees are unable to replace Robbo now even if they wanted to despite DK new average - when they all change we will only have c 5 points to play with anyway so who better than Robbo ?! Cheers
SCB
Stuart is hoping to be back at Belle Vue on Monday. Danny King will receive a new average (along with the rest of the Bees team) effective from 1st May. Danny should get a new average tomorrow. If the BSPA are not considering his 2014 scores other than his Lakeside ones then he does not have a 2014 EL average. Thus he should be on a converted average of 8.84x0.6 = 5.30 anyway. But ignoring that, he doesn't have a 2014 EL average so he must be transferring between leagues. Than means he's assessed (but they have assessed him incorrectly). As he is assessed the rules state 16.2.9 An EL or PL Rider starting the season with an Assessed MA will have an Established MA after 4 Home and 4 Away fixtures, becoming effective 7 days after the last qualifying Meeting. Should an Established MA not be achieved in order to be effective from 1st May, then the MC may issue a revised MA, based upon actual rides if the Team re-declaresDanny completed his 4 home and 4 away on Friday vs Poole. Tomorrow is 7 days later. Now if the club want to merrily saunter along and stick with the team they have then fine but surely as an opportunity to strengthen up the club should be arguing this one with the BSPA if they're not, correctly providing him with an average. TBH, he should have started the season on 5.30 anyway and again, if the club had any ambition would have argued this as well. Robbobee
Anyone know what happened re: the published Rolling Averages for each Team - has it disappered off the main British Speedway site?

How do you know if the club did or did not take up this point, Shawn?
Robert Lee
Digressing for a moment from the frenzy of armchair experts second-guessing the promotion's team selections (is there an emoticon thingy for "yawn"?): It's great to see that we are getting speedway reports in our local freebie newspaper. Two separate stories this week. Good move by Bees management, wider publicity can only help. Maybe some of my neighbours who used to go to speedway will try it again (I've already recruited one).

There's been some great stuff in the Evening Telegraph as well. Great to see good publicity for the club
SCB
How do you know if the club did or did not take up this point, Shawn? If they did then fair play and I take back my criticism and aim my wrath at the BSPA!

john birch
Just to let people know that i am standing for Ukip in the local election on may 7th in Revel and Binley Woods ward. My name is John Birch and i have been a Bees fan since the tailend of the Boocock era. It goes without saying that i will not vote for permission to be given for housing on Brandon stadium under any circumstances ever. I have leafletted 99% of houses, have done well here before and we (Ukip) are popular with the pensioners of which there is a high proportion in this ward. Most people know it will be extra pressure on school places and more traffic and don't wan't it. I can beat the Tories. If you know any Bees fans in Binley Woods, Brinklow, Pailton, Ansty, Monks Kirby etc, friends relatives whatever, try and get them to vote for me. It can't do any harm. stevebrum
Can't see our management wanting MJJ after last season or him wanting to ride for us. Need commited riders Can't see our management wanting MJJ after last season or him wanting to ride for us. Need commited riders MJJ? Really? The guy has show time and time again he isn't interested in the UK. Over-rated in the UK but if he was commited a steal of a average. With it not only being King/s average changing on 1st May but the whole teams, we wouldn't of had enough points anyway
