deanr1
Good move from the Bees Promotion. I actually think that you now look stronger, in-depth, than that mob down on the South Coast. I can see Brandon becoming a bit of a fortress; hopefully not when Lakeside are in town though (okay, I can dream). As it's now where I watch most of my Speedway these days, I'm looking forward to some very good meetings at Cov throughout 2015. Best of luck to you all for the season ahead. I think Lakeside will do alright on their visits to Coventry. AJ, Bech & Lawson always do well there and Kennett knows his way round. I was really surprised by Bech, I'd go as far as to say he was the most impressive visiting rider last season for me, and only Darcy Ward has impressed me more in recent years round Brandon, he looked that good. The Voice Of Reason
Fair call Dean. Bech rode Brandon superbly last year; and full credit to the boy in Heat 15 for getting up off the deck immediately when Rich Lawson was in 3rd place. mdmc82
Robson has tweeted that nothing is broken, which is great news. He has to stay in hospital overnight for observation.

TesarRacing
Hans Andersen finished 2nd in the Bob Kirby memorial meeting tonight after a 3 man race off with Nicholls & Lindgren. Hans looks like he is 'on the money' so far at the start of the season.

Crazy robin
How will Jason manage financially just riding in Elite League as he's the only reserve not doubling up?.
SCB
How will Jason manage financially just riding in Elite League as he's the only reserve not doubling up?. I would imagine he'll be riding PL as soon as a team comes calling - and I doubt it'll be long before they do.

Yes that would make sense as he needs to ride but a Premier lge team will know that they won't have him in a clash which might make a spot harder. If you're desperate and the choice is sticking with your 4-5 point rider or brining in Garrity for 85% of meetings and use R/R for a few meetings then you'll make that change. Probably have to throw a few £££ at him too!

Hopefully he will find somewhere soon. He had a lot of bike problems tonight which could end up being expensive if only in 1 league.

Not a great endorsement for him. A great rider putting his all into riding and being one of the best draft riders from last season and not riding for a PL team - how can that be? Woz01
As Coventry Blaze have done it I think it would be a good move for our promotion to get linked with Wasps. Getting good crowds and a small mention in the programme and/or twitter feed can give good publicity.
SCB
So a week Friday, depending on what Kings scores against Poole we will have over a point to play with added to the half a point we're already short thst leaves over 6 points to replace Robbo. Will the club do it? Go all out to but an awesome team? Or just be happy with a good team? He may not be everyone's cup of tea but Ben Barker is the obvious signing. While I'd love Mads, Buczkowski or MJJ I'm realistic enough to know they're either not interested or prohibitively expensive. A team of Hans, King, Joonas, Barker, Harris, Garrity and Sarj is realistic and surely a damn scary proposition for the rest?!

I personally don't rate Barker, he is also out injured for another few weeks. Robbo is a more commited rider esp to our club.

Give me an uncommitted 6-7 points vs a committed 4 or 5. In 10 years time we won't be saying, "Remember 2015 when we had the committed Robbo in the team" but if we win the league we won't be saying, "we won the league, but oh God we had Ben barker in the team so best to forget it". mdmc82
if i picked id go with mads, partnered with hans , Mads doesn't want to ride over here! There was a reason we started season with Jamrog. I can't see anymore changes being made
