mdmc82
Couple of days before his crash in Denmark kylmakorpi was beating tai and emil in a match winning heat 15 for dackarna so hadnt completely gone off the boil !! Foreverblue always looks for fault in anything Coventry. Kylmakorpi has been great for us this season. I think Emil would cost too much even just for a few meetings. I would like Larsen or Shamak as past connection to Coventry and know the tracks well.

shinyhine
I really hope the promotion will sign someone up as we have a massive chance now but even if they don't they did get Kyle eventually and what a last heat last night after a good meeting considering the conditions Piotr is a future world champ

SCB
anyone know when the 7 day window is for signing a replacement for injured riders I would imagine the 7 days prior to the play-off meeting. But this is speedway, it could be in October!
T.N.T.
8.37 to sign a rider that hasn't ridden here this season, so what names fit and the chances Emil Sayfutdinov 8.00 = Unlikley to come over and would cost a small fortune but with Leszno and Vetlanda on the verge of winning their repective titles, he will be concentrating on those and the SEC. ....... 1/10 Antonio Lindback 7.94 = He could be available and would be a good shout but does he want to ride here as he has shown little interest in recent years. 6/10 Tai Woffinden 7.03 = FORGET IT - He may have a nice lead in the title race but in the play off final with Vetlanda and is very happy with his calendar as it is. This world title means a lot to him and extra meetings are further risks and not financially worth the risk. 1/10 Piotr Pawlicki 7.32 = Leszno key rider at reserve and the GP Challenge ahead plus other commitments makes it unlikely. 2/10 Patryk Dudek 7.00 = Has come back in great form and has said he wants to ride as much as possible until the end of the season. Would cost a fair bit but could be a match winner if persuaded. 6/10 Kenni Larsen 7.11 = Club asset and going well and if fit he could do just aswell as JK. 7/10 Linus Sundstrom 7.19 = Did well in the past but hasn't been great this season so a gamble. 5/10 Shamek Pawlicki 6.75 = Could be a good shout if the big names are unlikely and knows the tracks. 7/10 Guests = Fredrik Lindgren 6.55, Peter Karlsson 6.33, Mikkel Bech 6.17, Kim Nilsson 6.88 (home only), Scott Nicholls 5.96 (if Belle Vue miss out), Robert Lambert 6.76 (if Kings Lynn out) ...... personally I would look atr Lindgren in most cases as a good guest and possible match winner. 8/

SCB
Just saying it as i see it his scores here recently were dropping off They were not. His average for his last 6 meetings was higher than his season long average and his rolling average and made his Coventry number 1 on form. Danny King is where we have been struggling for the last month but he come good yesterday and will hopefully continue where he left off in his last 2 rides. Thought Danny did ok yesterday. Think your problem rider was Robson and Howarth isnt much better

Sherborne Green
Can anyone who knows the rules answer this one? A team is allowed to replace an injured rider in the play offs, I know. However, is the replacement up to the injured riders average or can a team increase up to the maximum limit. Over to someone who actually can answer that question.

SCB
He needed to be replaced by someone better than Howarth I don't disagree with that that. But then saying that, Howarth is better than no change. Can anyone who knows the rules answer this one? A team is allowed to replace an injured rider in the play offs, I know. However, is the replacement up to the injured riders average or can a team increase up to the maximum limit. Over to someone who actually can answer that question. Rules just say you can replace long term injured riders - technically nothing in there that prevents you building back up to the limit.
