Coventry 2015

Hans is having a crap year. It's probably bloody annoying for him. But our management, there's no excuse. Even if they make a change now we've lost all momentum and have dropped behind Poole and Swindon in the race for the play-offs and this week showed that we can't even be sure of beating Lynn!

It's all a bit too late now.

You are right , it looks too late now. We have riders in the wrong place in the team due to the average changes and we look a very average outfit.

The frustrating part of all this is that we could see it coming weeks ago, even before Robbo's crash. We were informed then that there would be no changes unless it became necessary due long term injuries.Well we have a long term injury and nothing has been done, a golden opportunity to strengthen missed. The fans have whinge and what happens? The Co promoter starts giving us grief while our chances of a good finish to the season are going down the pan.

But why should I be surprised? Horton & crew had history before they appeared at Brandon and it looks to me like it's the same old stuff going on again.

Will be a shocker though on the Wednesday when on sky. Another Poole sky attendance

The promotion are doing offers for the 3 meetings that week.

A few riders over the last few weeks have stated they want an EL spot. Surely the likes of Jonasson, Larsen, Dudek and Howarth will improve us. Larsen is having a great season in Sweden by all accounts.

Could we fit Jonasson and Larsen for Robson and either Hans, King or Joonas. Options are there IF the promotion wants it.

If any team wanted to sign Dudek, surely his average would be about 7.50, ala Piotr Pawlicki, and he has been in a winning World Cup team for Poland??

Pawlicki was 7 and was a better rider than Dudek who is. 6.5ish rider - it's difficult in this format to assess any rider though.

Gemini, I mean poor compared to our last few meetings. That said considering we didn't know the team until we walked through the gates and the team was depleted, the crowd wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

Even compared to our last few meetings it was a better crowd. Shame promoters don't release attendance figures because that would prove it one way or the other. I saw lots of people who aren't usually at Coventry so not everyone was bothered whether the team was announced or not. What is disappointing though was the standard of racing so they won't be encouraged to come back again. Swindon riders just gated and were off.

Poole getting the pick of opponents has made it look like a Pirates and Robins final to me and that would be great viewing if it goes to the last heat at Wimborne Road.

Bees need to bring in one or two 6 pointers if they are to challenge the inform teams and get Garrity fit.
