Game On
And do you honestly see us winning the play offs? Yes it's good to be in them but unless your competitive then you are just really making up numbers. As for 2nd that's not even guaranteed. We will be third

There was only ever going to be one winner, the same as 2013 and 2014, so best to just sit back and enjoy the racing while we still have the chance. It's a long Winter. Woz01
Tonight highlights two things, Garrity needs to be fit for us and we won't win anything without using the points available. Will you management, just be straight for once?
mdmc82
Completely agree with Woz01 Did Horton see the number of fans leaving at the interval or here the comments from fans about it looking like game over already? Watching is race tonight, can the management honestly say they don't think we need to strengthen to stand any chance in the play offs? The management in my opinion made a mistake not signing Summers in the form he has been in this season but the question is with riders like Dudek or even Howarth wanting an EL place, are we just going to sit back and see out the season? Those mentioning Barker, he got a full 12 point max tonight on his return to racing

As SCB said he probably wouldn't want to d/u as the max is 2 years now so he'll wait till next season. Still possible though.

Bee 26
To stand any chance in the playoffs then more than one change is needed. King and Korpie have gone right off form, obviously Horton has no money to bring in a decent rider using the points available I bet everyone is queuing up to pick us in the semis where will we make an early exit. Cherry Tree is coming into fruition lovely eh Watson?!
Dornier
I said a few days ago this Bees team wasn`t good enough, The top of the league thing that everybody keeps harping on about gives a false representation of the actual calibre of the team. Bomber and Jason have pretty much kept the team in the position its in now but other teams are coming to the boil now whereas the Bees have nothing left in the engine room. Even replacing Robson wont make any difference the top four riders just aren`t up to the job. theres two more defeats to Swindon round the corner and a totally demoralised Bees team will be the result.. Bees only chance of a place in the final was to be drawn against the Aces in the semis but that's looking very remote now .. I think even us would of beat the Coventry team put out against Swindon, personally I think the Aces have had a great year compared to the last 8 seasons but will miss out on a play off spot. Bee 26
Swindon have made changes and look at them now, Poole will make a change and Coventry will do nothing and be humiliated in the playoffs. Let's not be looking at Barker....been there before and tbh we need more than one change...

That's why it's probably not worth doing anything.
naffer
Hard to disagree with the sentiments posted ,we have over achieved until 2 weeks ago although the previous results against Poole have showed we were not quite there anyway. Now we have injuries and off form riders at the run in to the play offs. All is not lost but I cannot see what can be done in the space of 2 weeks or so. Joonas and Danny worry me I know the latter is injured but they have turned into third place chuggers again . Hans can do a job at second string but you would not put your mortgage on it would you. Then we have the Robbo place to sort out, I can see Kyle coming back which would be a positive Then we have Jason to consider hopefully he will be fit otherwise we are snookered as he is our difference maker. Fair play to Swindon they have made positive changes and are reaping the rewards and will no doubt contest the final with Poole. Poole will pick us no doubt if we are still in disarray . Up the bees.

Probably Swindon can't afford that very expensive team they are now running - where's the money coming from to pay for Ward, Batchelor & Zengota? By all accounts their attendances are even lower than ours. With luck, we'll be here next season - will Swindon? Or, here's a conspiracy theory: Poole are subsidising Ward's wages, a) to keep him match fit for next year and to stuff Coventry..... What a load of cobblers, the crowds at Swindon have increased a lot since Rosco pulled off the move to get Darcy on board, and now with Summers the team is doing better which will attract even more .

Maybe. We'll find out over the winter which clubs are living beyond their means (or at least how far they all are beyond their means, Poole excepted).
