Everyone that comes into contact with Horton has issues with him, you clearly lead a sheltered life.

Erm I was on about the situation regarding the Kevlars!

Also if you read the last couple of pages you will see he has had a lot of criticism of me so don't see how I'm leading a sheltered life. It seems you just read part of a paragraph and jump on it instead of reading what's actually being said!

I think the problem here, is that for the last 3 or so years Woz appears to have had his head up a certain part of Horton's anatomy.

He made a couple of posts yesterday which suggested he might have come down for some fresh air, but it seems now that he is on his way back up there.:lol:

I understand recently that Rob from Leicester has offered to do centre green presentation at Peterborough in exchange for 2 guest passes for each match.

So you may get your wish of a centre green presenter & Rob is top draw with knowledge & interviews

Yes you were spot on with your opinion as its really kicked off on Facebook today (as well as on here).

Peterborough could do with a good Centre Green Presenter - no idea if the Club are fixed up for this season but its not been good since Darren Fletcher did the job.

Horton's a crook who still owes money to Peterborough riders from last season, so a few quid for kevlars is nothing to him.

Yet Rory boy was going nuts on socail media that the BSPA has blocked his move to the Panthers

Why should a team be able to sign riders when they cant or havn`t paid the ones they already have--i for one think the BSPA did the correct thing

On the contrary your post seems to suggest more it's a contract issue than kevlars.

Bees have just brought Garrity so Must be willing to pay out.

I haven't heard or seen any other riders complaining anywhere about money owed and we all know that Hans would be one of the first to say if they hadn't been paid.

Yes the contract which includes the payment of kevlars! Surely your not that dim?

Anyway Hansen confirm it's now been sorted.

Jesus and I thought Woz was naive.

He now owes nothing to any Coventry rider far as I'm aware. Think your hatred of the man (justified) means you do not read posts correctly. As I've said already how am I naive? I've slated the bloke over the last couple of pages but at least I use perspective and not think every issue is Hortons fault.

Absolutely and he wouldn't have signed for a second season. The issue with Hansen seems to me being something in the contract being misunderstood regarding kevlars not that Horton can't pay. Hansen has now been paid it seems.

Not really I comment how I see it. I will give him stick, ie the NSSC draw the fiasco with the double header where season tickets required to pay and sacking Chris Simpson for liking a post on Facebook. Hansen issue seems a contact issue regarding when payment of kevlars was required which has now been sorted. I actually found the guy a bit arrogant but I will comment on how I see it not use my feelings on the guy. Just because you are not a fan of someone doesn't mean you can't agree sometimes and vice versa.

To be fair to Horton, he was having a good run with the finances since he returned to Coventry, with no reported problems.

The issues started when he let his heart rule his head and decided to save Peterborough Speedway last winter. Lumbered with a Tuesday race night at a club notoriously short on support was always going to be financial suicide, and so it transpired.

He should have let Peterborough fold, but he didn't, and will have to take the associated flak that arises now.

Interesting that five Bees riders have all ridden under Horton before and all re-signed, as well as Havelock as TM, so he must be getting things right at least some of the time.

Hey ho, I'm sure he'll put his foot in it a good few times over the course of the season and apologise for it. It will all seem trivial in a couple of years when we're homeless and teamless.

How does he remain in the sport whilst reportedly continually owing people money? Desperation?

Perhaps the key word here is reportedly.

Can't argue with any of that. He messed up at Peterborough no doubt but he isn't the only one that's failed there. Hopefully the new owners there get the interest required to run Peterborough successfully. Moving to Tuesday seemed a strange move

I've said it before and I'll no doubt say it again. Mick seems to have good intentions, he tries to please but he just seems to fail all too often, mostly on silly things. There no intent to piss people off which I'm not sure can be said of some promoters he just seems to be incapable of keeping people happy.

Being in charge at Coventry he gets some things rigt but also some things wrong. Overall I'm not bothered if he stays or sold up, he is a million times better than ccfc owners Sisu though!

Perfect example. Garrity signed as an asset then a day later sacking Chris Simpson. This has been a regular occurrence unfortunately, I think he is hot headed at times instead of sitting back and think things over.

He's the only one who failed twice.
