Studland Bee
Good to hear from Neil Watson, great idea with the fence sponsorship. I really hope that the planning application gets kicked into touch and we can stay where we belong at Brandon Stadium. Next job Neil in my opinion is to sign Jason Garrity as a full asset of the club, a swap deal with Eddie Kennett sounds like a plan. I think Jason has a bright future with the right people around him which is clearly at Coventry, keep him away from Poole

Gemini
Can Jason garrity be bought too please Neil! Good idea. Do a swop with Ed Kennett, plus a bag of Salt & Vinegar Crisps and a packet of Rich Tea biscuits. Sorted.

bigcatdiary
The air fence is being bought by the Club. Presumably that's why the fans are being asked to pay for it via sponsorship. As someone else asked, can Peterborough now have it's panels back that you borrowed at the end of 2014
Woz01
Bees confirm that they have priority over King and Robson this season. Presumably that's why the fans are being asked to pay for it via sponsorship. As someone else asked, can Peterborough now have it's panels back that you borrowed at the end of 2014 I think all clubs would probably have the air fence paid via sponsorship of some sort. If you read it they are buying it anyway but if people want to sponsor then it's upto them.

mdmc82
Brilliant news with regards to D/U riders as this means at present (barring rain offs & injuries) we should be able to field a full team each meeting.
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
A farce concerning King as he is not owned by an EL club. The BSPA is all clubs. The fact that Birmingham were previously an EL club is irrelevant. That club does not exist.

As someone else asked, can Peterborough now have it's panels back that you borrowed at the end of 2014 We did get some back but they were knackered and couldn't be used. I wonder if Horton will order a few extra panels to replace them? Bees confirm that they have priority over King and Robson this season. I think all clubs would probably have the air fence paid via sponsorship of some sort. If you read it they are buying it anyway but if people want to sponsor then it's upto them. Just interested because I'm a bit dim. it was all above board - under the rules the EL club get priority over DU riders fastrack riders AND airfence panels! wink Edited February 9, 2015 by dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
markyb
More good news on the Coventry web site on the priority over the use of double up riders: http://www.coventrybees.co/news.php?extend.3025 Great news ! Shows a real focused management structure for 2015 - been very critical of watson and Horton in the past, but hey they appear to have done their homework and making Coventry the team to beat in 2015. Now ready for the backlash from the forum !!!

The fact that Birmingham were previously an EL club is irrelevant. That club does not exist. TBF, you try and come up with a reason, how ever tenuous that gives Ipswich priority. As I see it Danny has been owned by 3 clubs, Peterborough, Ipswich and Birmingham and all 3 have been EL clubs. He is primarily an EL rider who happens to have dropped down for a few more meetings. He's not really a PL rider is he? The only claim I can see you have is he did at least at one time belong to Ipswich and does have some links with you.
