mdmc82
Bees sign Woodward for this season I wonder if this means howarth is not coming back? Horton does mention limiting double uppers in the side. Not sure how I feel about Woodward being our first signing. Weak away from home but a team player. If it's instead of Howarth would be disappointed. Edited November 24, 2014 by mdmc82

Bees_Man
Did ok when he guest last season. Rather have Howarth but he misses too many meetings with us riding Friday's.
Panthers89
Another rider that could fit in nicely at Coventry, could be Cameron Woodward, could fit in nicely with Hans, Harris, Howarth and Woodward. Called that one nicely......
Daniel Smith
Cracking signing in my opinion. A fan of Woodward. Full on 100% team player and gives everything.
foreverblue
Woodward will be a excellent signing for coventry could put a point in his current average.
Brandon
Highly improbable anyway, but does this fit? Tai Woodward S Pawlicki M Michelsen Harris My dodgy calculations get it to 33.61?
E I Addio
Not sure how I feel about Woodward being our first signing. Weak away from home but a team player. If it's instead of Howarth would be disappointed. Assuming Hans and Bomber are back you could have both Woodward and Howarth and still have room for someone like Craig Cook, unless the batteries in my calculator are past their sell by date. Woz01
Woodward is a solid signing especially if he is a 2nd string rider.
SCB
Can't think of many worse signings. Poor, poor, poor. Teh guy has an 8.5 home average so he has no chance of maintaining his average. So many better 6 pointers around
G the Bee
Surprising one for me. He's never been a rider I've particularly noticed, probably because he always rode for Eastbourne who were never really a team who would set the pulses racing when they came to Brandon. It's a case of 'time will tell' I suppose. But if the club's policy is to minimise doubling up riders, I have to applaud that. I know that it might mean some of the riders we would want in an ideal world are not signed (perhaps Howarth, if the rumours regarding Swindon are to be believed) but I was well and truly sick of turning up at Brandon week in, week out last year to see a patched up team full of guests. I know the way around this is to sign riders as assets and therefore gain priority over their fixtures but, with all the uncertainty regarding whether we will have a track in a couple of years, I'm not sure if I was the Bees promoter I would be quick to open my wallet to sign riders as assets.
stevebrum
Highly improbable anyway, but does this fit? Tai Woodward S Pawlicki M Michelsen Harris My dodgy calculations get it to 33.61? That the same Tai thats wants less meetings to ride for his parent club but suddenly will ride for Coventry?
deanr1
Has the "only 2 riders over 7.00" rule been confirmed? I've not seen it anywhere official. Unsurprisingly that would suit Poole rather well with Pawlicki on 6.75... 😳

heathen chemistry
omg .....noooooo here we go again 2 over 7 ....... first it was one over 8 , what a load of............. why why why keep tinkering , let a team construct how it wants ie 3 top riders and 2 4/5 pointers where is the logic ? if they say its because theres not enough riders thats hogwash 8 teams only this yr
Woz01
I wouldn't have Woodward as a heat leader but as a 2nd string he will be fine. He did obtain his average riding part of the season as a heat leader. Edited November 25, 2014 by woz01
INCOGNITO
Cameron Woodward is the typical team man that gives a yeam stability and a solid foundation to build on. At 6.32 he should be able to maintain that and be able to back up Bomber and ? While Howarth may have been sold, it doesn't mean that he won't be back and if Andersen Bomber Woodward and Barker sigb it would leave judt enough for Howarth or Hansen
Woz01
Howarth probably won't be at Coventry if he going to double up. I'm interested to see who our number one will be, we usually have an idea but I've certainly not heard or read any rumour.
Steve0
I think Woodward is a good signing - he is capable of riding as a heat leader and being away from Arlington will help him improve.
