SomersetBlue
Yes this is a Somerset fan making a thread. Going to the best two meetings of the season hopefully. Not commenting on the score as I don't want to be a jynx. dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
If Edinburgh start like they did at Worky they could be in trouble. Certainly need to hit the ground running or they coukd be under serious pressure in the return. Will go for Somerset by 12 at home but the Monarchs to pick up the title after winning their home leg by 16. Would be a travesty if Edinburgh dont win overall. SomersetBlue
Would be a travesty if Edinburgh dont win overall. Not really, not meaning offence here. Edinburgh won the pairs yet the Rebel pair were the better pair on the night after scoring more points. Swings and roundabouts.
coomie
Think we will win at home but without brady's points the lead might not be as big as needed, olly had bad crash on Thursday he might not be fit for Friday
Al Stewart
Hard to equate the Pairs with the League surely ?
bri1966
If Edinburgh don't win this it will be a travesty . They are head and shoulders above even Somerset . The playoffs just make it another knockout cup competition .Go Monarchs
Mr Blobby
Honestly think Somerset will win this Allen won't be as bad as he was the last time he was at the Dale and Kurtz out makes them a lot stronger around our place as well as everyoe gets a ride apart form Allen. Allen won't 3 again and i'm sure Morris, Aspgren, Wright and one of the reserves will score more than a point.

R/R has produced the scores he would have.Where it is a big miss/risk is if you lose another rider mid meeting it would leave you very exposed. TheScotsman
Morris is always one of the strongest riders at the Dale. Brady had not yet mastered the place. As said, Allen can't be that bad again there. So Somerset should score well there. I doubt Foxy has ridden Somerset yet so isn't likely to score many if any. Todd K is a double figure man there at the minute. As are the others apart from maybe Starke, though if Lambert can get 14 out of 15 against the Mons then possibly Starke could too given our weakness at reserve. So Somerset should be stronger over all. There ya go!! Now I just need our boys to prove me wrong as usual!!
Starman2006
So whether Somerset go for a guest or continue to use R/R imo they need 12-14 point lead to take to Edinburgh. Edited October 19, 2014 by Starman2006
