pawel115
Marta Poltorak main sponsor for Rzeszow pulled out of sponsoring so now the team might not have enough money to race in extraliga

Seems as though they are looking at Hancock or Kildemand as potential replacements for Holder who has not yet agreed any deal!! uk_martin
Walasek and Jepsen Jensen to Gorzów actually ☺ More Walasek rumours in the Polish press but having caught up on what my source told me last month, it seems that, according to my source, Stal may have cooled their interest in Walasek and the latest name in the frame for a move to Gorzow now is Grzegorz Zengota. uk_martin
Rumours about Stal Gorzow are over as they have re-signed Gapinski and Swiderski again to retain the entire 2014 team (loyalty or what?) - http://www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/482520/oficjalnie-stal-skompletowala-sklad-na-sezon-2015
racers and royals
I must have missed the news that Grudziadz have accepted the invitation to compete in the Extraleague in 2015-their first signing is Kristof Buczkowski. brandonbee48
Sad that it appears unlikely that we will get a weekly ogle at the delectable Marta Poltorak. http://www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/483103/pge-marma-rzeszow-nie-przystapi-do-procesu-licencyjnego-enea-ekstraligi Rzeszow appear to have made their position clear on the current cost of running in the top tier. Does our friend Pawel have anything to add from his home town perspective? Regards. Alan.
Bavarian
It's only seven Teams in the Ekstraliga at the Moment. Rzeszow will not move up. There is something wrong when the richest teams can have all the top stars and the poorer teams simply are no longer competitive or go bust financially as was the case this year with Czestochowa and Gdansk. Some form of rider control is needed in Poland.

Hoe ironic that in a formier communist block country, the solution to the problem is seen as the removal of the free market modus operendi and replacing it with a centrally planned one. Not half as ironic as the existence of the best example of socialism in sport: salary caps, revenue sharing, the draft and municipal funding of stadia ....all integral parts of US sports

pawel115
City is thinking about sponsoring Rzeszow so maybe not all is lost on Dec 14 we will find out for sure who rides in extraliga the problem is by the time this is decided all good riders will be signed by other teams they need to have some time of salary cap I heard that Torun presented really good salary proposal to Holder and he refused I think they have been spoiled for too long.
