Some of these speedway riders are idiots at times

Who in their right mind allows themselves to be owed 300k?! Why did it get that far? Baffling

It was explained on sportowefakty at one point. Along the lines that he rode 190+ points for the club and was only paid for the first 80 or so.

Indeed, idiots at time. 100 points is almost /probably ten meeting after the money stopped coming.

Do u know how his demand differs from say, Hancock?

NO I don't. Some of Emil's affairs were sadly brought into the public domain but otherwise it is all conjecture. But there is no doubt Polish clubs are reining in payments even when there are sponsors and benefactors willing to splash the cash.... as appears to be the case with Emil at Leszno.

... the three hundred grand he didn't get from Czestochowa

300,000 Zloties, Roubles, Sterling or Euros? If it's Zloties then it amounts to under £60,000 when translated into our currency. Still a lot of money but it does make a big difference to the perception of the problem.

What would have been his options? To withhold his services? Have you seen what happens to riders that do that?

emil the mercenary...

Welcome back KKS - everyone's missed you. (mainly because no-one can throw anything that far)

Any idea when fixtures r released??

Just looking at the Warsaw GP weekend & deciding whether to go or not & a nice league meeting on the Sunday may sway my decision??

What r the nearest tracks to Warsaw in the Ekstraliga??

This season 1st round was April 12th so good chance of league fixtures the following day..

Fixtures were announced for season 2014 on January 9th-so expect similar for 2015.

Nearest to Warsaw is Torun about 160 miles then Tarnow/Rzeszow
