barrow boy
I see that the scoring in the finals are 4-3-2-1. Something that happen in the GPs I reckon.

dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
I see that the scoring in the finals are 4-3-2-1. Something that happen in the GPs I reckon.with the 3 going straight to the final it ensures those auto qualifiers reward even if betean by the semi winner whilst the semi winner is also rewarded indirectly for his semi win.Not needed in the GP where there are 2 semis and points are scored from those races. I meant the rewarding of the 4th placed rider with a point for making the final
waiheke1
But as bruv sayd, they will already have been rewarded fir making the final by the points they received in the semi
arnieg
But as bruv sayd, they will already have been rewarded fir making the final by the points they received in the semi My understanding is the semi points don't count towards the totals ( cf the SEC)
waiheke1
My understanding is the semi points don't count towards the totals ( cf the SEC)they do in gps (which I was referring to), but not in sec/aussie champa.hence can see the logic in this point system for sec, but think unnessecary for sgp. Apologies I hadn't spotted that GPs had been introduced into the discussion. I agree with you too.

SteveLyric2
Holder broke his wrist in practice today according to Poole on twitter. In very heavy practice conditions. Practice was suspended. Holder broke the same wrist that he broke in his Danish league crash (the one that he had plated) but is confident of being fit for the start of the EL season. SteveLyric2
Tbh and imo, apart from doyle and c holder. The rest are only pl riders at best. Holder's wrist now confirmed as only dislocated - NOT broken - plus he bent the wrist plate from the previous injury. His Aussie championship is over but he could be back racing in a couple of weeks.
