I'm reliably informed that the scoring system has been changed to 3-2-1-0.

21 Heats plus two semi-finals and a Final.

A 3-3 result in the S/F (and Final) would see the team coming 2nd & 3rd going through to the Final (declared Winners)

Tournament points allocated by most points scored in meeting: 10-8-6-4-3-2-1.

Both FIM Europe meetings in the Ukraine have been cancelled and will not be run anywhere else. This means there are only two qualifiers for the SEC challange and that the pairs competition only has a final round.

Changes to allocations as well?

One Sport are saying that the qualifying for the SEC will still be for 48 riders and a new venue for the cancelled Ukraine round will be named soon http://www.speedwayeuro.com/news/n/468/sec-semi-in-rowne-cancelled-but---.html

Personally I am ambivalent about the venue...if Laguta, Sayfutdinov, Pedersen, Iversen and Kildermand are competing again, it will be fantastic wherever it is held
