HenryW
How much faster is emils bike on the straights.. Crazy. Has to ride it though.Do you think Tai needs to check his workshop to see if any engines are missing?
Bavarian
Now said on TV he has a back injury and only signed in to this meeting so that he can race tomorrow. i find this strange and hard to believe, really. Gollob has a back injury today, but no back injury tomorrow? Come on, what's the true reason for his non start tonight in Kumla?
HenryW
i find this strange and hard to believe, really. Gollob has a back injury today, but no back injury tomorrow? Come on, what's the true reason for his non start tonight in Kumla? What they said on UK TV was that he had a back injury which was due to be operated on in a few weeks. He wanted to limit his racing until then and if he raced tonight he wouldn't be fit to race tomorrow, but if he didn't sign in for the meeting tonight he would be banned from racing anywhere tomorrow by the FIM...So he signed in but didn't race so that he could race in the Polish league tomorrow. No idea if any of that is accurate but it was what was said on UK TV.
Mark
poor call to exclude Fred. Easy call to throw out the rider on the inside. Anyone on thge inside now gets excluded.
f-s-p
Top of a glorified open meeting? Not talking about SEC then?
OveFundinFan
Emil in a class of his own far above the others. Nicki seems a shadow of his form earlier in the year. Lindback a bit of a disappointment in his last couple races. Gregory L did well to clinch silver when he only scored 8 - but, hey, thats the rules. mothorsen
Providing their form stays the same, I really hope to see Emil and Antonio in the GP next year aswell as SEC. In SEC I'll hope for Woffinden to appear. An ok meeting. A bit slow the first half, but second was good.
mdmc82
A very deserving win from Emil who looks likely to become Europeon champion for the second year running. He out classed the whole field tonight and watching some of his passes from last to first was pure entertainment. He's a huge miss to the SGP this year, really hope he's back in it soon. Ghostwalker
From the second interval and onwards it was a very good meeting. The first 8 heats wasn't that good and the gates were far too uneven for the whole meeting.
Odds On
The meeting was shyte, no sorry what I meant to say was it was complete and utter shyte. If speedway fans think that was a okay meeting with no or little entertainment for nigh on 75% of the meeting then god help the sport...any newbie would of switched over by race three or four.
bruno
Emil can win as many secs as he likes but without a wc against he's name he won't be remembered as a great

Ghostwalker
Definitely not a poor meeting, a few less good heats in the first two rounds but overall a very good meeting. Plenty of good racing but haters gonna hate.

A number of great riders never won a world title...Igor Plechanov for one. Leigh Adams is another one. customhouseregular
I could add Sverre Harrfeldt and Nigel Boocock and that's just 2. Emil is a great rider and will be remembered as such whether he becomes WC or not.
bruno
But don't you think without the wc there will be something missing in his career.I'm sure in years to come he will look back and regret his decision
