PHILIPRISING
Track pic courtesy of DMU, text says that meeting was not held due lots of rocks on the track. https://instagram.com/p/3UW51EI_Ae/ WAS actually taken there a few years back while at Croatian GP via Hungary (!) to have a look at the stadium, if you could call it that. Very, very basic but local Slovenia guys were actually taking about having the GP Challenge there. Don't think so! f-s-p
The Lendava track hosted one of the rounds for the most stupid ever series of seven u21 finals in 2012. Spar made a report prior to the meeting that it was basically run by an ex CCP bigwig. Dont know if he still runs it, but thats how big meeting are gotten over better tracks. Only noticed it later on, but I had an email via some weird connection that there was a livestream sponsored by Lendava city council for the event to gain exposure. Talk about plans backfiring... iris123
And apparently they forgot to take a blocker off the stream so only thse in Slovenia could see the stream of the tractor going round and round and round and round...

PHILIPRISING
Some were talking about having a GP at an old Latvian gulag, but that happened err.. almost. LEAVING aside that one is in a European capital city and the other in the middle of nowhere, no real comparison. Track in Riga has meeting coming up so will have a chance to see whether they have sorted the track.
racers and royals
One Sport have learned something from BSI- official statement on their SEC website One Sport, as the promoter and the exclusive holder of the rights for Speedway European Championships, is not responsible in organising the eliminations process to the final series. We are not responsible for the riders nominations to qualifications, choosing the organisers of qualification rounds and organising such events, at any point. After failure to process the 'SEC Challenge' on 30.05.2015 in Lendava in safe and proper conditions, One Sport is pleased with quick and mature reaction of FIM-Europe to choose the new organiser and processing the final event on Friday, 05.06.2015 in Torun, to secure the non-problematic start of SEC 2015. We declare our full support and co-operation for the organisers from FIM-Europe and KS Torun to host the fair, good event, therefore, we would like to underline once more, that the qualification process is in the gesture and responsibility of FIM-Europe, in all of aspects of these. Humphrey Appleby
One Sport have learned something from BSI- official statement on their SEC website Except finding someone who can write press releases half decently (which is even something BSI manage). To be fair to them-it`s the English version on their website http://www.speedwayeuro.com/ maybe the translation has lost a bit from the mother tongue. Clearly, but if they profess to be an professional promotional organisation, is it too much to ask for someone to draft a version in one of the official languages of the FIM (and presumably FIM Europe too)? I find it hard to believe they can't find anyone in Poland who can string a few coherent English sentences together.

DutchGrasstrack
Any predictions?I'm going for 2x Laguta, Bjerre, Lebedevs, Protasiewicz, Przemek and Milik.
Ghostwalker
Any predictions? I'm going for 2x Laguta, Bjerre, Lebedevs, Protasiewicz, Przemek and Milik. It's difficult, many of the riders seems to be in good form. In addition to your picks, I'd say that Monberg, Sundström, Andersen and Jędrzejak also will be strong challengers.
DutchGrasstrack
Latest lineup news: Andrej Karpov steps in to replace Piotr Pawlicki. No number 15 today as David Bellego is not in Poland today to replace Leon Madsen.
