You may have a long wait waiting for 31st September.

But on the plus side, definitely won't be raining that day!

Plenty of other teams have gone into vital matches without key riders (eg Kent's vital last away match at King's Lynn clashed with a workington Pl match so club captain Simon Lambert unavailable) - so why shouldn't Cradley once in a while?

Oh dear, check back Mr B over past finals, and indeed this season, I didnt notice any of us (cradley) bemoaning this fact, I was merely pointing out the difficulties in arranging dates, remember Coventry are trying to arrange for Sarj to be there also.

Seems not only does the El, PL take precedence over the NL, but this coming Sunday 19th is a free day for all the riders involved in the NL PO, but we cant have it bcuz there is a stock car meeting the night before  .

I tell you what this is becoming a joke, whats stopping them having a 6-00pm start, and having most of the day free for track prep, how long does it take Mildenhall to prep there track from previous nights Stocks ?.

To make matters worse, this weekend is a decent weather forecast.

Last weekend, Scunny ran stocks on Saturday and speedway on Sunday. The start-time on Sunday was moved back from 3pm to 5pm to give the track staff a bit more time. Thomas Jorgensen was 0.01 outside of the track record in Heat 1.

All the best

This topic's gone quiet and no word seemingly coming out of Brandon... Which is pretty extraordinary really, as the whole NL season is MEANT to climax with a championship play off final; yet here we are on October 18th. and still no date even set for the second leg of this Final...

Yeah the date for the 2nd leg was Tuesday 21st, but seeing as Coventry cant be arsed to arrange the first leg,I guess this has now become the 1st leg, can someone remind the Promoters at Coventry the season ends on the 31st. Is it any wonder Horton struggles to succeed ? look up the definition of promote, how can someone promote something, when we dont even know the date.

Surely isn't it wiser to wait until tonight's EL final is concluded? The meeting could be abandoned or postponed for all sorts of reasons, given the apparent state of the Poole track. I would imagine and hope that a date for the Coventry leg will be announced tomorrow.

Not really. When push comes to shove, the Play Off match without a date is the NL one and when Coventry have an away EL match (even as important as the EL Play Off Final) can't forever determine when they set a date for the NL meeting.

The NL Play Off Final leg at Coventry SHOULD obviously be this coming Friday -Friday being the Storm's race night. I know Cradley fans will protest that this would mean Steve Worrall missing it, so I suppose if that pressure is applied the meeting will be on Monday 27th. - just 24 hours after the heavy toll of the National Fours on the Brandon track.. Ideal? I don't reckon so..

It's not good to nominate a date then have to postpone after fans may have made arrangements for attending.

Lets hope the two promotions are in discussions as to the best date thus avoiding Worrall or Sarjeant being absent. We've all seen enough of guests this year. No, not ideal at all. You have perhaps highlighted part of the problem above.

Just read on FB, Laurence Rogers- awaiting confirmation of agreed date. Hope that helps. ;)

The problem were it to be this coming friday, is take a look who Stevie Worrall is riding against, Somerset including Paul Starke, Starkie is the Cradley captain so to go in without the Top two riders Im pretty sure any team (not just cradley) would be against that taking place.
