Lakeside 2015

If that's correct then Kymakorpi, Swiderski and Peter Karlsson would all fit.

Karlsson a couple of years ago - yes - but not now.

Kymakorpi - no.

Swiderski - yes.

Nilsson as has been said - no with the averages.

Just my opinion.

Really pleased that Richard will be back, although it still remains to be seen if availability could be an issue. I haven't made my mind up about Kennett yet, although it's definitely a risk that could pay off (and I hope it does).

I'd love to see Swiderski back, but will we struggle with our third heatleader?

What average does Kennett come in on after his Birmingham 2014 scores were expunged??

Converted 2014 PL (8.38x0.6 = 5.03) or previous EL (Swindon 2013 = 6.39)?

It should be 5.03 as it would be deemed that he did not record an EL average in 2014:

17.3.5 If a Rider has only a PL Established MA from the previous season, then a conversion is
necessary; the PL MA is multiplied by 0.6, subject to the minimum converted MA being 3.00

A lot of home fans would love to see Swidderski back. When he last rode in 2013' he spent half his time nursing the out of form Seb Ulamek home so he would come in on a bit of a false average. At his best he is a genuine Heat 15 rider and we have all seen what he can do when the pressure is on, notably against Freddie Lindgren and Matej Zagar. His away form is a bit suspect on some tracks though. Worth a punt IMO.

I agree! It was slightly tongue in cheek because I suggested 5.03 when there was a chance Eddie might be riding for Poole - and I had the usual and expected 'Poole bending the rules again' bu**$h*t!! :D

IF Birmingham meetings have been removed from averages then Kennett should signed on his previous EL average and NOT a converted average as per the rules. And looking at Danny Kings average, it looks like 2014 Birmingham meetings have been removed.

That is one of the reasons I asked the question!!

The BSPA 'final averages' list states that Birmingham's results have been expunged. That leaves everyone to assume the same applies to their riders' scores.

Absolutely, very popular at Arena. My comments about potentially struggling were with away meetings in mind - but having thought about it a bit more, AJ and Bech will probably do just as well away (if not better sometimes) so perhaps that wouldn't be an issue. To be fair the rest of the team so far should be able to put on a good show away from home as well, so maybe 1 home track specialist who averages much higher around his own track wouldn't be too much of a problem - and it's unusual to be able to say that as a Lakeside fan! Haha

How does that square with 17.3.5?
