Fromafar
Why would they want Guest? Not huge average to play with and little a stake. Better to give the lads who have ridden all season a chance to earn more? The. Border Trophy is at stake!
Arson fire
Why would they want Guest? Not huge average to play with and little a stake. Better to give the lads who have ridden all season a chance to earn more?only takes a further injury and the fans are short changed again... Should be bloody mandatory to have 2 full teams in every match imo.... More and more matches are riders short, its been disgusting this year across the board.
TheScotsman
Tough to get a guest at this time of the year. Most teams have packed up for the season.

Hang on though we don't want to go over working our trophy cleaning lady over the winter months, she already has the Tweed/Tees Trophy to polish. Ned Kelly 41
Hope Kevin and Alex survive another practice at the Dale on Friday. Alex Edberg? Riding for who? Hang on though we don't want to go over working our trophy cleaning lady over the winter months, she already has the Tweed/Tees Trophy to polish. Poor old girl's been polishing the Border Trophy since 2000. She'd be glad to see the back of it!

smod
Peterbro, along with Doolan Peterboro's line-up is logged with Richard Lawson and Kevin Doolan as guests, r/r for Hall plus Ostergaard, Adam Roynon, Nicki Barratt and Max Dilger. Where does Edberg fit in there?

DSC67
Struggling to find some enthusiasm to attend this meeting . The though of a 70 mile round trip on a cold October night to watch a nothing match doesn't really excite me , especially when there's a GP on tv , and the Super League grand final as well and a few cold beers from the fridge is much more appealing. YAMYAMBANDIT
Weather forecast looks good so I am coming up Few beers in the Black & Gold, nice stay in the town and a couple of Mr Anderson's famous burgers . I am not a lover of burgers or any fast food, but, last Sat in Golden Helmet Rymel reccomended the burgers by local guy trading at stadium on the grassy bank. He made them from scratch in front of you, then quite a wait for them to cook, they were something too behold, a long stretch from what you are talking about mind ( they were Chicken & Pork) Is that a reference to the weather or what we're racing for? Perhaps, a brass monkey trophy might make it worth racing for, or perhaps 3 in Berwicks case, See no Evil, Hear no Evil, Speak no Evil

Mr Anderson's burgers, though, are famed through out speedway and rightly so.
