cityrebel
This coming Friday sees the hammers visit Central Park for the last meeting of the season. I'm not a great fan of challenge matches, but I will make the effort if it survives this spell of unsettled weather. Wiseguy
Can't see this meeting beating the weather we are having in kent at the moment, I would check before setting out on any long journeys
cityrebel
Looking at the rainfall radar, the majority of the showers are running north of sittingbourne in lines. Let's hope they stay there!
blueherb777
OFF. Now next Friday - 17/10/14.
cityrebel
Monsoon conditions tonight meant no chance of any racing. I wonder if the kent management realise the first leg of the EL play off final is scheduled for next Friday, weather permitting of course! waco
Weather looks okay for this one today, hopefully.. Have not heard if the line ups have changed at all but the number of guests teams are using in the last few weeks of this season suggest there might be further changes Still chance to get a last speedway fix this year should not be missed..Presentations to the riders in the bar after the meeting... IAN2
Looks like their are changes to the line ups but no information forthcoming from the Kings to let us all know.
Blackbird
The changes have been on the Kent Kings website for AE earlier this week and for Kent this morning. Do you lot never look at the website?
waco
Jon Armstrong replaces the injured Benji Compton ..Chris Widman replaces the unavailable Jason Garrad and rider replacement for David Mason...
IAN2
The changes have been on the Kent Kings website for AE earlier this week and for Kent this morning. Do you lot never look at the website? Yes but the changes to the Arena line up did not state who was being replaced and Kent's changes were posted very late in the day especially as Benji Compton was obviously not going to be fit in time. teaboy279
Might score a few points at #3 with rr.... Be nice to see Armstrong and especially Widman in kings colours.
waco
Excellent meeting to end the season plenty of action as you would expect with Danny Ayers and Jack Kingston in the same meeting ,both rode brilliantly all night ..Stand out rider for me was Stefan Nielsen for Lakeside, just back from injury but it did,nt show,, unbeaten until rearing and falling chasing Ben Morley in heat 15..Ben himself had looked down on power until getting his machine dialled in for this ,the last race of a successfull season for the team at the home of the Kent Kings ... Other good performances included Marc Owen for Lakeside,, and Simon Lambert who were both solid,, unfortunately our guests Jon Armstrong and Chris Widman had nights to forget, surprising as both normally go well round Central Park ,and so the Kings went down to a narrow defeat, but a very enjoyable meeting to end our second season ... Guest
The changes have been on the Kent Kings website for AE earlier this week and for Kent this morning. Do you lot never look at the website? I look at every day on its original place and of course as Kent Kings information is also available on Facebook I am kept regularly informed by the club that information about the team and Kent Kings matters generally is available. Mjolnir
Fantastic meeting to end the Kings' season! Great racing, with Danny Ayres showing yet again why he's my Kent rider of the year. Hopefully we'll be seeing regular Kent v Lakeside meetings next season along with Eastbourne - although I still can't figure out who to cheer for as a lifelong Lakeside fan and Kent regular!
