orion
As someone has said Ward signing for Swindon would be Great news for The Bees as they would sign Howarth or Zengota for Robson making them super strong .
foreverblue
The top 3 will be stronger but as a 1-7 it will be weaker because whoever comes in with Ward wont be as good as Howarth or Zengi especially around the Abbey. Also the reserves aren't the strongest. I can see Zengota going to Coventry and maybe Kurtz to Swindon.

Oh Lord. The very thought of it!! This must not be allowed to happen. Who would our options be to replace whoever we sacked?
BritPete
Fantastic news if it happens. Swindon needs bums on seats, and Ward is one of the very few riders who can do that. In a poll carried out by total sport over 83% of Swindon fans want him. I don't care about winning the league and l never have done, after all it's a joke sport and a tinpot league. I have no time for the dark side of Ward, but on track he is fabulous.Bring it on! (I hope) Edited June 23, 2015 by BritPete
thecoombdog
I can see Zengota going to Coventry and maybe Kurtz to Swindon. I'm sure someone will correct me but aren't you only allowed 2 double uppers?

thecoombdog
Your Correct ..but if Kurtz replaces Howarth we will still have 2 Yeah of course. Just get the feeling Zengi would be the one replaced. But then I suppose it they can't find a suitable foreign rider then they might have to release Howarth and sign a lesser double upper. Seems a lot of things to sort before it can be a done deal.

I wonder what the result would be to a poll that asks: Do you think Greg Zengota or Kyle Howarth should be sacked? Of course people would like to see Darcy Ward ride for Swindon. I would. But I bet it would be a lot closer if they gave the whole picture.

mdmc82
May need to drop more than one rider The Daily Echo reported this afternoon that the Robins are close to completing a deal but, with the Rossiter needing to drop another member of their current 1-5, and replace him with a rider on a lower average, to fit him into their team, Rossiter insisted the loan move for Ward is still a fair way from being rubber-stamped. Yes, Ive enquired but its certainly not a done deal. Rossiter said. Its not as straight forward as dropping one rider out, Id have to make a couple of changes, so Id have to check and see who is available and have a look at the whole package. Its not as straight forward as it being done and dusted, we have a situation that we need to address and of course anyone would be interested in Darcy Ward because hes a special rider. If we are able to get him to come then we have the visa issue to look at too, which is a process we cant start until after his ban, so theres some work which is needed. We should know more in the next three or four days, it could be longer, but well have to wait and see. - See more at: http://totalswindonsport.com/2015/06/rosco-insists-ward-deal-is-not-done-yet/#sthash.v8iDPfjL.dpuf

mdmc82
Think Zengi will get sacked.....Rosco always goes on about team GB's future so I cant see Rosco dropping a future team GB rider. I would sack Howarth though.....Zengi is dynamite around Blunsdon...... Would also explain why he's the only one who didn't know he was meant to drop his average 😉 Would gladly have him back at Coventry
mdmc82
Coventry would be unstoppable now. Andersen Howarth/Zengi Kylmakorpi King Harris Garrity Sarjeant Not a weak link in that line-up. Nothing to say he would definitely go to Coventry. I'm happy with Robson but would be even happy with Zengota If Ward is hoping to stay out of trouble from now on, is putting him in a team with Morris the best idea 😁😱

SpecialOne
I like both Howarth and Zengi but given the choice of one to watch at the abbey every week it would be Zengi
thecoombdog
Why on earth Swindon signed AM in the first place I don't know. AM was a ticking time bomb from the moment the Robins signed him. Wasn't a matter of if he leaves it was when he leaves. Makes me laugh when people say why did we sign him. Why do you think? Because he was literally the last option we had as a number 1. Nothing to say he would definitely go to Coventry. I'm happy with Robson but would be even happy with Zengota If Ward is hoping to stay out of trouble from now on, is putting him in a team with Morris the best idea 😁😱 What's the worst that could happen? A few Swindon birds might get a rooting. Hardly a crime is it.
