Swindon 2015

Recommended Posts

He's only 24 English... :o

True, I suppose I expected a major season from him after his break through season at Peterborough when he looked like he was going to be a 9 point average man in the future. As you indicate Blu, he's still got time on his side.

Bloody 'ell, just watched the speedway bit-that looked a bit scary, running out on the track while a race was in progress-I've only done that once (1981 British Final run-off race between Steve Bastable and John Loius!) I somehow think H&S wouldn't let you get away with it these days. Thought it was good to get an uninterrupted view of a fight in the pits! The bag they were fighting over appeared to bounce off a Lakeside reserve's back at one stage! Anyone any idea when this was filmed?

Someone posted a picture of the Swindon Facebook group and said the riders were Dan Greenwood and Benji Compton.

If so, that would make it this match from 2014: http://www.swindonrobins.co/news.php?extend.2181.1

I'm sure it was this meeting, the rider's names that could be seen in the Lakeside pit were Lawson, Watt, Bridger & Adam Ellis

I don't think it was a real meeting as you only saw reserve riders and a very small crowd!

Sounds like a typical Lakeside meeting to me.

How long can the saga with AM go on. Should we replace him & if so, who with? It may even be that the BSPA are not going to allow his re-declaration as the replacement on Thursday night is for Kildeman & not Adrian. If so we would only have 6.86 to play with. To replace Adrian, it might have to be a re-declaration with one of the 7 point riders going, bearing in mind the riders available.

7.5 to replace Kildemand, as we would be 0.64 under the points limit.

Ward's average is too high. Bringing him in would mean too many changes.

To be honest, I think we maybe need to forget about a number one rider.

Move Nick to number one and bring in an exciting youngster. Don't know who, but there are no number ones.

Better than guests in my opinion.

Agreed as it doesn't matter what points we have to play with as apart from Kasperzak I can't think of any other riders wanting to come here.

That said neither does Kasperzak😀

That's not a bad idea. However, it's disappointing as it means that we would possibly give up on this year's title in preparation for next year.

There are a few exciting youngsters around (e,g. Bartosz Zmarzlik etc) and they might be worth a punt - if they were interested.

Bring back Justin Sedgmen  (although he is going very well in the PL)

Smarzlik looks more & more like a Seb Ullamek type who is poor when he doesn't gate.
