MattK Posted June 6, 2015 Report Share Posted June 6, 2015 As much I would love to see Miedzinski replaced, there is no way that Rosco would drop Batch or Morris unless they are injured. I still think that Adrian will let us down at some stage of the season. When he was injured, he was less than enthusiastic that he would be back. Still a shocking signing IMHO but we haven't seen enough of him to see one way or the other! I don't think Ward plus a 6-pointer would actually make us stronger overall, especially given the 6-point rider would have to ride as a heatleader. Plus of course, Ward will be looking to get his average down in order to fit in at Poole next season. I agree with you that there is a huge question mark over Miedzinski. The pubs and hotels of Swindon are desperate for Ward to sign for us! There was an article on the echo website where Middlo was saying he doesn't think he should choose a team like Swindon so it sounded to me like they have no choice where he goes if Poole can't use him. The Swindon Robins team is built around Batchelor and Morris every season so they have a 0% chance of being dropped. Batch was dropped to make way for Zagar when Swindon finished top. That's not what I remember. Batch was injured and was replaced with Zagar and when ready to come back we stuck with Zagar (as he was on fire).
