A ORLOV
Such a shame really i was looking forward to it,if Lee is in agreement then that's the most important thing i will look forward to his Dads meeting first thing next year. Agree, followed by beating Poole home and away on April 3rd.
TitusTokio
So that's it for Swindon this season then. Batch has already said he wants to be back in Britain and hopefully Swindon, which he has reinforced in today's Star. Morris, rightly or wrongly, is surely nailed on and then there's the two reserves, so who will fill the other three places? I personally wouldn't have Gustafsson back, his sort are going to get more and more rare, especially if this rule promoting draft riders into the top five comes in. British speedway would lose a load of the loyal, foreign, middle order men like SG, Klindt, Wells etc. I think that's a bad thing personally. Red Robin
There must be a lot of people who don't know the meeting is off tonight, anyone receive a text as is usual to season ticket holders? I didn't and would have travelled from Bristol if a good friend hadn't found out in "The Advertiser"
DunRobin
I for one am unable to fathom out why Greaves was a fan's favourite. He very rarely finished the 1st lap, yet alone a heat. There was very little improvement in his riding & how he can say that Batch was a poor captain is beyond me. Batch scored 20 bonus points at home this season, a large percentage of which came from shepherding home a lesser rider. It may be that Greaves did not get much help as it seems that he does not listen to advice or his team manager. It would also appear from the incident at the end of the season that he also has a bad attitude which earned him a big fine from the SCB.
Tom Turner
The comments from Nathan don't surprise me at all. Never been a fan of Rosco, seems he just likes the attention on the TV. Remind's me of an awkward uncle.

I think clubs will be cutting back on average foreign middle/reserve riders in the future. It is one way of saving money is it right i don't know but this draft system has to be sorted out soon that is one of the biggest issues for me. Is this the piece you're talking about Chalkie? http://www.swindonlinksport.com/swindon_sports_news/kildemandreturnunlikely He doesn't rule it out completely so maybe there is some hope. Can't have riders holding clubs to ransom though, let alone the whole sport!

Yet another rider who has used Britiish speedway then as he was more than happy to ride here when Poland & Sweden didn't want him & all the meetings it involved. Britain will never have a 18 meeting season so good luck Killer & no doubt if things don't work out you'll be back in double quick time. theblueboy
Christ, your a hard bloke to please. The bloke has bettered himself by applying himself, using the talent he was given and is now a skilled tradesman. Would you do a job for a £5 when you can do it for £20? That's all PK is doing. Nothing more, nothing less.

It would be nice if a few Brits could "use" British speedway and do the same then. Why is it the foreigners can do it but the Brits seem to fail to "use" British speedway. Conkers in Gravy
Terrible isn't it when you're used by a speedway rider, then they never call, they never write, they forget your birthday. . .

Less meeting's i want more meeting's with rain offs (ect) at times its like you are waiting a month for a meeting. The EL needs revamping totally, i am a big PK fan but as usual now Britain is a great stepping stone for something better. DunRobin
I think we have to be realistic, the top riders have too many meetings if they ride in 3 leagues, GP qualifiers & GP's. The UK will always loose out as there is more to earned in Poland & for the Scandinavians, Sweden offers less travelling for probably the same sort of money. Do we as supporters really want an 18 meeting season, 9 home & 9 away. I for one would settle for a full season with lower grade riders. If PK does not want to ride, surely Jason Doyle should be the man for us.

You poor soul which rider dumped you? Would Doyley return to Swindon? Cant blame these riders if they earn 10 times more in Poland though. He's Just like a lot of people who have a career he started at the bottom and then he move on to better job earning more money . Maybe Kevin Keegan should have stay at Scunthorpe rather move to Liverpool back in the day because they never wanted him at the start of his career .
